Don't Buy If You Intend to Adjust The Height Regularly - Or If You Are Short
This desk is compact, sturdy and looks attractive for the price. However, I don't think I understood before purchasing (my own fault, I suppose) that the entirely manual way in which this desk adjusts in height makes it impossible for one person to do alone and, even with assistance, is incredibly inconvenient if you raise and lower regularly to use as both a sitting and standing desk throughout your day/week. Additionally, it's not really sized for a shorter person in the sitting position. I am 5'3" and it is way too tall for me at the lowest setting, with my desk chair at the highest setting. The keyboard tray is 2" higher than it needs to be for ergonomic comfort, and the desktop is level with my chest, making it too high to use for writing, and placing my monitors too high as well. I was able to mostly rectify the height issue by removing the casters (wheels), but I still can't use this as a true sit-stand desk since I'm unable to raise it alone. I could have just purchased a nicer regular (sitting) desk for less money. Of course after spending two hours assembling it, at this point I'm not disassembling it and trying to get the pieces packed back up to return. It also weighed a ton. Oh well. Disappointed.

Great compact standing desk
I needed a compact standing desk that was wide enough to fit over my treadmill but small enough that I could get around it in a small space. Also, I needed it to be tall enough to accommodate the additional height from me standing on a treadmill rather than standing on the floor. This one is perfect and even fit with the color scheme in my living room. I’m 5’7” and didn’t need to extend it to the tallest height, even with the added height from the treadmill. I didn’t install two of the shelves because I only plan to use the table top surface.

Great for tall people!
First off I would like to say, there are some people out there who probably just shouldn't buy furniture that you need to assemble yourself. There isn't anything "wrong" with those people, but if anyone has difficulty putting something this simple together, buy something else. I did it completely by myself in less than 30 minutes, carefully following the directions, it was very simple if you can follow directions well with limited text instruction.I bought this for two reasons, to change to a standup workstation and for space savings. At standup desks I concentrate better, don't get sleepy as easily and it's just better for health generally. I bought a cheap mat to stand on which seems comfortable so far but I'll likely change to a nice gel mat in the future.I have the Microsoft Sculpt desktop which fits perfectly on the keyboard tray as long as I leave the separate keypad pushed back or my preference, on the work surface. This desk is very solid, there is obviously a tiny bit of movement while typing, but if you want, you could probably secure the top work surface to the wall and make it rock solid. My biggest concern buying this desk was the height, since I'm 6'3" but I'm glad to say that I was able to get the top surface to 51.75" which is perfect. I put the keyboard tray at the lowest setting which allows my elbows to be at a perfect and relaxed 90 degree angle.I can't say enough good about this desk, it's excellent and will do me well until I can afford a nice $1000 motorized desk for my future office at Microsoft. ;)In the photo I posted with my review, the desk is set at the highest setting I could get it while still being stable. At this setting the table top is 51.75" from the floor and the keyboard tray is 45.25" from the floor. All perfect for my 6'3" body. The monitors in the picture are a Dell 30" and a Dell 24" (in portrait mode), I had to angle the monitors slightly to fit them both there, but that made it more natural to look at anyways. It helps that the monitors are height adjustable as well so I can set them to the perfect height for my eyes.

Great standing desk
I bought mine on Amazon Warehouse and it had a note that the package would be damaged. When I got it, the box was pretty beat up, but I have to give a lot of credit to the people that designed the packing, the desk was perfect. The shipping & packing materials can obviously take a pounding! The desk went together easily for something as complicated as a standing desk. The instructions were clear, all the tools and parts were included, I had it assembled by myself in about an hour. The whole thing is easily adjustable. Others have noted that once you get it together it's hard to re-adjust, and that's definitely true. But it's incredibly strong & solid. Once it's together, it's not going to get loose or come apart.I'm really happy with this desk, I think it's the best I could have gotten, anywhere near this price!

The stupid thing doesn't allow quick height adjustment!
This is terrible. First off the assembly sucks. I finally got it together by myself, but the instructions are a bit deceptive. And it doesn't explain where or how to install the shelves in the correct placement. But the biggest problem is that it's an ordeal to adjust the height. You can't just adjust in from minute to minute because there are 4 screws that are not easy to get to in order to make the thing raise and lower.I'm pretty mad about this and would maybe like to send it back but I have no idea how that would work.

Not bad, not for regular adjustment, some wobble side to side
I found the wobble quite tolerable for me, and I'm often picky about things like that. It wobbles side to side because there are no crosspieces (triangles make for stable structures, squares don't). Less wobble front to back. Not sure if there's a similar one that does that better on this.Don't buy this if you want to adjust it up or down except once or twice: this is strictly a fixed height standing desk, no sitting, no sharing between two people of different height. You can adjust it as many times as you like, but every time it's going to be a big pain.I paid 170 and I still think that's a good price, but the use of adhesive tape rather than screws for the shelves (under the desk surface and keyboard tray) seems incredibly cheapskate. I think that would stay put fine, but it means you can't move the shelves up or down ever or remove them for ease of transport. I've not actually bothered to add those shelves though. The keyboard tray works nicely, it does move easily but I found I can work with it slid out to any position.Appearance is OK but I think side panels are a bit ugly in a plasticky way, and on mine one of the plastic push-out slots for cables (I think that's what they are?) on the side was already pushed out, which also looks a bit ugly.Assembly was quite easy, if you've ever assembled a few IKEA things you won't have a problem.

Good stand up desk but not so good for sitting down.
First of all don't buy this is you want to move from standing to sitting frequently, as it is not at all easy to change single handed. But as a standing desk it is excellent and is a sturdy construction and spacious enough for note pads, cut of tea, headphones etc as well as the computer screen. You can adjust the height to just what you want but this is tricky if you adjust it on your own. I placed box files and CDs between the middle shelf and the keyboard shelve until the height felt right, then tighten the screws. There are 4 screws but they are difficult to reach as the middle shelve blocks access somewhat. If you do use it sitting then I found that my legs bump against the lower shelf and I had to have my seat at the highest it would go to use the keyboard comfortably. But my feet then didn't touch the ground and needed something to rest my feet on. I am 5ft 6in so about average height. But for the price i would recommend for use as stand up desk if you are able to move to another sitting desk easily, I have our original desk position next to it so I can easily move the computer over when I need to sit down.

Good, value for money, manual adjustment required.
I wanted a standing desk that's adjustable and not-too-expensive. This fits the bill to a T. The desk looks good, and is fairly easy to assemble. Remember to measure your tower before putting in the shelves, to make sure you have the right amount of space.Adjusting the desk is a manual process, which may need two people if your computer screen is heavy. I only do that occasionally. Unless you have a laptop or a light screen, don't think it's feasible to adjust the desk up/down several times a day.

Sturdy and well-designed piece of kit
This sturdy and well-designed piece of kit has transformed the way I work. Standing up for the greater part of my productive work at the computer helps me to stay more alert and is, I am sure, better for my health. It did need a bit of effort and attention to detail to put together this stand-up desk, but was all the more pleasing when everything turned out so well. The cherry veneer looks really good, and the whole thing stands very firm, while also being capable of movement when the wheels are unlocked.

Good enough quality for the price, let down by construction instructions
The desk is perfectly tall and sturdy, bearing in mind I'm a 6 ft man with 32 inch computer screen. Perhaps nothing to shout about for £200 but definitely no problems with the quality. The only problem I've had is that the default holes for the shelves don't leave enough room for a desktop to standard up on. If you blindly follow the instructions, as I did, you'll find yourself with the option of putting the tower on its side or dismantling the thing and starting again. The holes for the keyboard shelf are smaller than the screws, so be prepared to work to get them in.
