Sally HansenSalon Pro Gel Nail Polish Lacquer, Pink Pong, 0.24 Fl. Oz.

Mudslide, a mauve shade, is not sheer, 2 coats cover nicely. The polish matches the color on the box, but not the color on the polish lid. Mudslide looks great on me. It's always been one of my favorite shades. I was happy to find it in Sally Hansen Salon Pro Gel. I have light to medium ivory skin tone with a bit of pink & peach.The instructions say to roll the polish over the edge of your nail. I didn't do that properly so the very edge of my nails look like the polish has worn off (less than 1/32").Two days later, a nail on my right hand chipped a little on the edge ...next day the polish chipped off another nail tip.....8 days later, I removed the polish on all my nails because it was beginning to lift off & I couldn't stop picking at it. My first experience with Sally Hansen Pro Gel lasted 12 days.UPDATE: I decided to try to fix the chipped nails...it was easy & results are great...-Clip off any loose gel polish that hasn't chipped off yet.-Being careful not to file your nail, gently file the polish to smooth down the ridge between the polish & your nail.-Rough up rest of polish with the file so the gel polish will adhere better.-Clean with lint free alcohol wipe.-Apply gel base coat to the chipped area & cure.-Apply thin layer of polish to chipped area & cure. Repeat for 2nd layer.-Apply polish to entire nail & cure.-Apply top coat to entire nail & cure.So far this method is working for me. One thing I noticed is that the polish is slightly darker on the two repaired nails. I'm not sure why...maybe because those nails now have 3 layers of color & the other nails only have two layers. Other than that, you can't tell the nail polish was 'repaired'. It took me about 10 minutes total for the entire process - setup to take down.My daughter removed all the gel polish on her chipped nails & polished them with a glitter polish. Some had gel polish, some had regular glitter polish...her nails looked great.NOTES:Pink Pong covers nicely in 2 coats, is a neutral shade of pinkish nude & almost matches the color on its box lid. It is lighter in color than Mudslide. Mudslide and Pink Pong look great on me.I'll update this section as I try more colors.

The bottle is as expected. I'm not sure if many people buy this product because the polish inside seems like it would get hold quickly - you know how polish gets think/stringy when it's old(?). It's not there yet, but would be faster than normal. I've bought this brand/kind before, so I know what "normal" is. None the less, it went on smoothly & provides nice coverage. I did 2 coats, but I normally do 2 coats. The end color isn't the true gray like the picture or box shows. (But when ever are they the same color?) It's a bit darker and has a touch of brown or purple hue. It's pretty, prettier than I even expected when ordering it. I'll totally wear it again, but by the time I'm finished with the bottle I'm sure I'll want different color. Shipping & timeliness was all as expected, given I'm writing this during the COVID-19 pandemic. Amazon had more important items to ship than nail polish!

This product lasted over 4 weeks on my nails! I used the Sally Hansen base, color, and top coat with a quality UV light. Pics are with new manicure, and 4 weeks out. The polish tolerates being trimmed which is a plus for me because I prefer short nails. I did a layer of top coat after trimming. Minimal chipping that was removed by the trimming. You can see the growth at 4 weeks out but it didn’t bother me, can only see it up close. For reference, this was around Thanksgiving & we were also moving, so I was particularly rough with my hands (I don’t wear gloves with dishes).This next time around at 4 weeks, I did one layer of color & one layer of top coat after trimming & it covered the growth & looks brand new! Love love love this color! Sally Hansen knows what they’re doing!

Pretty color but the polish seems old & will not cure under the light.

It's a good product, but I do not think it is as shown. It is much lighter than it appears on the package. I would not call it 'raisin' at all. Light pink at best. It also sort of appeared dull after the final step of rubbing the alcohol pad over it to set the polish. I used some sparkly polish as a top coat, so it will be fine. But when this is out, I won't be purchasing again.

Color: Raisin the Bar is exactly what you'd expect.My nails generally do not grow or get long. But Sally Hansen gel (requires light) is a fantastic polish. The extra level of strengthening it provides have helped my nails grow for sure. Lasts about 2-3 weeks with minimal to no chipping. I do dishes by hand so this is saying something. I usually have to change it because it's growing out (not because it's cracked). Love the darker colors - get complete coverage. Two thin coats over the bottom coat (step 1), followed by a top coat (step 3) does the trick.

I thought this polish would be a matte electric blue, but it is actually very glittery, just a heads up!The polish does last extraordinarily well, however. This polish stays perfect / rock hard on my nails for at least two weeks, and I am very tough on nails!

Love this color, it's more in the brown family than grey tho ... just a note.I see a lot of reviews for these PRO-GEL products; saying that the polish does not set up. never dries .. etc .. well, I think there's some confusion with the PRO-GEL and the SALON GEL polish ... the PRO-GEL must be "Cooked" under a UV light or it will not set up .. additionally, it needs a specific base coat and top coat in the same line or it will not work.It is easy to remove, if you do it right. Go to Youtube, there are many tutorials that will help you with that. You will need PURE ACETONE, or forget it. Do not peel it off, that will damage your nails..
