So far it works great. No engine noise. Remote wire sensor works when the radio turns on and shuts off when the radio is off. I wired it into the rear deck speackers.Saves time running wires from the back of the factory radio. Good value and a Kicker product.

Super simple setup. Works perfectly. The remote out is a nice touch. Super clean output.

Installed on a 2019 Volkswagen Arteon to activate a spare wheel active subwoofer that needs an input signal and a12v remote and wow it works great! Turns on immediately when the car is on and shuts off perfectly when the car is off. No distortion either according to YouTube tests with professional equipment for metering so it’s a no brainer. Sounds great too!

2023 Hyundai Tucson. As soon as I hooked it up the unit powered on, even before the car was on. It keeps your amp on all the time even when your car is off. To turn your amp off you will need to interrupt the remote wire with a toggle switch.No engine noise, works great.

Works great. I used to add a self powered subwoofer to my OEM radio. I used posi taps for the installation. It was rather simple once you know which wires are the speakers you want to tap. I tapped the rear left and rear right from the harness behind the stereo. I liked the fact that is also has as a remote output wire to turn on the amplifier. No need to find a 12v source or wire. Made the installation very easy. The hardest part was running the remote and RCA wires under the molding and carpet.

I have a small amp installed for a behind the seat subwoofer, but for some reason the signals from the ACM to the sub connector weren’t working. I attempted to use high level inputs and the amplifiers high inputs, but this failed as well. Enter this kicker LOC.It’s small and light, but good quality. Having a switched power source is a life saver, especially since the f150’s sub wiring is 6v and it doesn’t work for most amps. This is a great value for the money, and beats having to purchase a larger LOC or PAC module.

Easy to install and I'm glad I was able to use the low level input setting on my amp. The only complaint is that the amp doesn't power on with low volume, I have to turn it up if I want to trigger the amp to turn on. But it does stay on if I turn the volume back down. Other than that I'm really happy with it, especially for how inexpensive it is.

Don't know if I got a bad product, I would assume so because the brand is a trusted brand, one I have used many times and this item seems to have lots of good reviews. Hooked up to a kicker Bassstation 10" sub box with built in amp. Ran all new cables, sub would not fire. I verified power, ground, and rca cable resistance, all under 0.3 ohms, so we'll within spec. Light illuminated, on rca adapter and sub enclosure, but zero output from sub itself. Wired my sub directly to rear speakers for signal impulse, and the sub fired as it should. Verified output on rca cables just to be sure, and signal was good. I did not want to splice into my speaker wires in my truck, which is why I purchased the rca converter box. However, it did not convert the signal, zero output on speaker wires with verified input. Damaged or bad product from factory. I would return it, but I threw it away out of frustration. Still no hate for the brand, will continue to use their products, however, this item was not QA'd appropriately, as it did not function as designed. Still left 3 stars because shipping was fast, and again, this company has never let me down before this situation. Hopefully no one else has the same issues, and if they do, hopefully they don't throw out the item so they can get a refund, haha.
