Greenes Fence Original Cedar Raised Garden Bed, 4' x 12' x 10.5-14" - Made in USA with North American Cedar

This is our 2nd year growing Greenes raised bed gardens. We love the ease of assembly and the natural cedar wood. We've grown so many veggies and are about to add berries to our beds.We highly recommend the original cedar beds as an affordable yet still durable product. The economy line is good, but for the long haul we feel it's worth it to buy the original.Note that the joinery of the 3 different quality levels (economy, original and premium) are not interchangeable; the slot sizes vary.Thanks for an attractive and useful product!

Everything fit together very nicely and I assembled it by myself in half an hour with no tools. It took another half hour to finish it with the endcaps by the time I pre-drilled the screw holes but everything was done in an hour. I put it in a flat spot in my yard next to an existing garden and put cardboard down to kill the grass underneath but eventually decompose. Added compost and some horse manure I got from a friend and expect to have a great garden next summer.

Simple and basic...very happy with the finished product., but you’re paying more for the convenience, than you are for parts and labor. The cuts are quick and sometimes fuzz-covered, but are mostly straight. Panels are mostly flat, but some joiners are tighter than others. Took me about an hour to layout all of the pieces and tap it together. There’s no instructions whatsoever included, so I’d recommend laying out one row of slats, starting at one end then adding each side til you get to the other end. Then work the same path adding the next rows.

All the pieces were not the same size so it did not fit together simply as it should have. I was expecting that the raised portion of the bed would have a taller interlocking piece instead of two interlocking pieces for each corner. This would have made it sturdier as well as easier to slide down and lock each board into place. Because each board were not of equal length, when sliding the boards into each interlocking corner, the longer board would push and bow out which caused the interlocking corners to split and break. I have three different corners that I had to screw into place and keep the wood from splitting by doing so. If they could guarantee that all the boards woul be the same size, and the interlocking corners would not break, then this would be a great product and receive five stars. The one good thing I will say about this company is that I did receive my package early.

Pictures are not representing the exact product! In my experience I will never fit 3 planks as pictured for the side beds and have space to stack them up higher. The maximum is 2. In overall the side post are 7 3/4 in length. The hole set feels roughly finished so wear gloves

These are wonderful raised bed units. They weather nicely, and are very easy to put together, expand, and design to fit your available space or desired planting depth. I am entering my fourth growing season with these, and now have 24 (twenty-four!) 4'x4' units! Highly recommended.

So far so good! Super easy to set up. Great quality. Add-ons for fencing and climbers should have been nice if available.
