WINDYNATION 8 Inch 8" Stroke Linear Actuator 12 Volt 12V 225 Pounds lbs Maximum Lift (Includes Mounting Brackets)

Initially thought the unit was defective but after corresponding with the vendor sorted out the problem to be on my end. The brackets were missing but Windynation promptly sent them to me. Installed the unit on my tractor's snowblower chute to adjust the deflection from inside the cab. The chute rotates from inside, but had no ability to change the height of the snow discharge without getting outside and doing it manually. Works like a charm. Now I can stay warm and dry and control everything from inside the cab.

Works well except one out of three did not have mounting brackets and had to send back. Needs better QC.

After only a few days of use, the actuator only opens but does not close. This is the second device of the same brand and model that this has happened to. What could be happening? Quality problems ?

Overall not bad. I used it as a hatch actuator on a wooden boat. Easy enough to install - included the brackets and required pins. The actuator is quite slow, and noisier than I would like. I believe the speed is published so that should eb no surprise, but the noisiness tells me the quality of the actuator is only okay - thus the "okay" rating.

Used this as a chicken coop door opener. Set it up with a timer and relay. Works great no need for me to get up every morning at 6:00 to let the girls out. Automatic close about 40 min. after the girls go into the coop for night from the run.

Item arrived on the and was just as advertised. I am pleased with my purchase.

It broke at the joint after light use on snow-plower . I used it 10-15 times in last two years.

I've used it for 2 years now. No issues WHATSOEVER. I love it.
