Fender Flares for E-Z-Go TXT

Yeah, these were actually great. Replace installer plugs with 1/4" bolts.
These things went on my EZGO fairly easily and look sharp. I will state that I replaced all the cheap little plug things they give you with stainless steel bolts. You will need 1/4" x 3/4" or longer bolts (well, technically I used pan-head screws and locking nuts plus two washers.) You will also need to drill the holes with a 1/4" bit. There will be only a couple of spots where there will be some acrobatics to reach the nut on the inside, but, it all came together. The fenders were nice and stiff, but flexible enough to flex into place, plus great cutouts that match the exterior of the vehicle. All in all it took me 30 minutes, with most of the time geared towards just ratcheting on the locking nuts.In the end, these fenders were great, stuck out about 3", but was enough that I don't get mud splattered on me, anymore - which was what I wanted them for. Job Done!

Good sturdy units but you cannot use the front bumper ...
Make sure if you have a factory bumper/brush guard you are prepared to modify or remove it to run these. Good sturdy units but you cannot use the front bumper or the rear lower valance. Wish it stated that in the listing, now I have to buy the madjax that are compatible with both. And I would also reccomend using stainless steel bolts instead of the supplied push pins to mount.

Great Value!
Great set of flares for the new (to us) cart. Really added to the aesthetics and was an easy install. My teenage son and I installed them in about 45 minutes. Look great and very strong mount. Also, I should add that ours came with the stainless steel bolts, nuts, and washers required. We are very pleased!

Solid fender flares especially for the price.
Solid design and I love that they are stiff and not flexible however, they do not conform to the body which means those plastic push buttons you're given to install don't cut it. I installed the guards yesterday and replaced all the push buttons with stainless steel bolts and washers! Now they look mean and conform to the body nicely. Very snug, plus the bolts look badass!

Okay - not great.
For the price, they're all right - with my size wheels, it's looks a bit silly on my TXT, but with bigger wheels I think they'd look okay. The rear part of the flare doesn't hold to the body on my TXT, but that may be my lack of understanding on how to install. There were no instructions, so you had to kind of wing it - would have been nice if they gave you info on how exactly to lay them out on the fender.

Good product, recommended.
These look very nice. I read reviews and went and bought nuts and bolts, did not even try to use the plastic rivets it comes with. Installation was not hard, just make sure you have it exactly where you want it before drilling the 1/4 inch holes( I used 1/4 Machine screws). It helps to line it up and then drill the first hole, then insert a bolt loosely and just use the actual piece for a template, not too hard at all. Really improves the look of my custom Kart. I would recommend these to anyone wanting to spruce up their ride, and also keep mud off of the body.

Very Small
Unfortunately the front fenders are VERY small. They only stick out about 3". Many of the comments etc. said they are great for large offroad tires and stuck out 4-5" which is what I was expecting. They are very flexible which is nice. I was buying the fender flares from Jakes Offroad but they are more money and very brittle. I would love to get these fenders but they fronts larger.
