GREAT product for the money!
These are great little strobes. Certainly not "pull a car over" or "amaze your friends at the dance party" bright, but for my purpose they'll be perfect. I'm putting them in areas where mice seem to like to enter my RV...they hate blinking lights. These are small, portable, and work right out of the box. They'll need a 12VDC power supply, of course, but they only draw about 135 milliamps at 6 volts...so they should run about 60 days on a 6 volt lantern battery, which is how I plan to use it. Good stuff!

Works very well.
Does exactly as it's supposed to do. Flash is bright. Those that can't find a bulb aren't looking very hard. The unit uses a standard xenon bulb used in most strobes. The wide range of voltage input makes this ideal four many uses. The enclosure isn't waterproof but it wouldn't take much to prevent water damage if used out doors.

Very short useful life.
Bright at first, but after a few months it can only be seen if looking right at it. Pretty much useless.

Cheap light not much visibility
If you are buying this fro vehicle visibility, forget it. It is a dime store attention getting and that is about it.

Good product with a little work to make it last.
Good bright strobe that will work on a small 9v battery as well as a 12v car battery. It is not built well to hold up to vibrations. I would suggest taking it apart and gluing or use silicone to hold the very large capacitor in place inside if you want the strobe to last. This strobe is much brighter than the led strobes I've found and still has low current draw. The bulb inside is almost worth the price alone.

Quality product great price
I had problem with birds and squirrels nesting in my garage. I installed two strobes that run 24 hours day and night. It didn't take long for them to vacate. I leave the strobes running day and night. I suppose I could install a day night switch automatic switch.

OK but
Performed as expected so far. The problem right now, the unit is getting dimmer. Upon unscrewing the plastic cap, I found another thin plastic shield over the flash tube. This shield is turning brown from heat contacting the flash tube and diminishing it's output. Why the plastic bubble over the tube (safety)? Removed this, and it is working bright again.
