Excellent if your expectations are realistic
This isn't a fast machine. It has a slow processor and slow storage. It has limited RAM which can't be upgraded. If you run any modern benchmarking program, it'll tell you your graphics system is terrible and shouldn't be used for gaming. Just generally, if you are looking for a high performance machine, look elsewhere and be prepared to pay more. If you're looking for a general purpose machine, probably not to be used as your primary computer, it's great. I am very computer dependent for work and I wanted a backup to my main computer that I could also use to store file backups. This thing let me very easily install a second SSD and it's been operating flawlessly. Chrome doesn't snap up like it does on a fast i7 but it loads plenty fast enough for real-world use. If my main computer fails (or even if it's just busy with a task for a few hours), I have this one to fall back on. WIndows isn't activated so budget $25 or so for that if it matters to you. It mattered to me so I did it. It's easy to peg the CPU so it's better to watch your workload a bit more carefully than usual. Even with the CPU pegged for many minutes at a time, the system doesn't get hot. Everything should be viewed with the price in the frame and when I do that, it's easy to give this 5 stars.

More powerful than I expected and thus more useful than I planned.
My original plan was to have a small fanless computer to be a client for a server down the hall and then serve music to my AVR. I was annoyed that my various Fire TV, Roku and NVidia Shield devices all insisted on resampling the 44.1 KHz audio of my flac files to 48 KHz and muddy the sound in the process. It's a defect of the resampling software in those devices since using more powerful software produces 48KHz music that my ear finds sufficiently identical sounding. A raspberry pi or equivalent is a popular solution but by the time you get a DAC board and a case and memory and.... it adds up to nearly the cost of one of the fanless atom computers. And then, a little more gets a fanless quad core celeron with HDMI output, two interfaces for ssd's, 4 USB ports and 4K 60 Hz video and so on.I was expecting it to be very modest in speed and I was quite surprised at its performance. I don't play games but it would be fine for lots of standard desktop tasks in a tiny little box with no fan and no overheating. I suddenly find it the easy way to play Youtube videos, other web content on my TV. A usb wireless keyboard and mouse and suddently its so much easier for dealing with general web content. With a 500GB SSD it holds all of my flacs plus the rest of my OGG Vorbis music with lots of space to spare. No NFS or NAS or DLNA. Simple playing on a great Linux music player. It runs Fedora 32 with snappy performance and I'm really surprised by all the use it is getting after only being here for a couple of weeks.

Mini PC is super fast and capable with solid state drive
The media could not be loaded. What drew me to this item is not only price but the specs that came with. a 64gb solid state drive is impressive in itself increasing the speed of the pc compared to a standard and outdated HDD. Additionally it is able to run any program relatively well in addition to intensive programs like adobe premier pro. while rendering its surprsing it doesnt overheat too much, considering its fanless. the HMMI 2.0 experience is awesome, connects fine with wifi and runs window 10 smoothly. id recommend to anyone who needs a new pc to stream videos or do work. i plan on using this for work and connecting to tvs in the hotel room when i travel via hdmi. Great product

An amazing little box for the money!
I bought this to build my own little "NAS" device . Mission accomplished.I added a 1 TB 2.5 inch SSD drive for $90, which fits inside ( it took at most 10 minutes to add - if you can use a screwdriver you can do it) .Once set up I RDP in from my regular laptop without any problems. Not a machine for gaming etc. but that is not what I bought it for. It works just fine without keyboard and monitor. Next step is to bring up a media server. It runs amazingly cool even without a fan without any noise at all...It is totally, totally silent. It has a ton of ports 1GB Ethernet, 2 USB 3.0, 2 2.0 USB, HDMI , VGA , SD Card +WiFi All just work!

Great ! No noise ! Good price !
Fanless Mini PC ,Great AWOW NV41 mini pc . I always want to buy a mini pc but without fan as I want something quite and silent. I compared more than 3 different fanless mini pc and finally chose this awow fanless mini pc. First, its cpu is cerelon j4105 and fanless design. It is unique on amazon. Then about its price, I paid for only 192 USD for it and it is the cheapest one I think. When I set up and I’m impressed by its performance. HDMI 2.0 support 4k@60Hz. I can enjoy my favorite movies myself. I really like its fanless design and that is really what I want. No any noise so that I can do some my database work silently. What I need to do is just to add a SSD because 64GB storage is not enough for me.Recommend to others who really want a quite working environment: Lab or hospital or home entertainment use like me!

Excellent value
Out of the box the mini pc ran at acceptable temps. After adding a cooper shim and new thermal paste the min pc is running 45-51C on load. This pc is great for office work and watching Netflix,Amazon prime and other video streams with no stuttering. The Windows version is 10 student not pro,but to be honest I did not notice this until i checked the version during updates. The 64gb onboard memory is ok but very limited I am upgrading to 256gb for $35.00 dollars not bad. Overall this pc is good for the price it runs smoothly and you can tweak it a little to make it even better. Very happy with this pc.

Good basic workstation, not really for multimedia.
So I've had this for a month. We use it for vpn torrenting and "playback only" kodi. Connected to a yamaha reciever and a 4k Samsung smart tv. It does spit out 4k@60 over hdmi and DTS audio. No HDR (Not available for Gemini Lake)Depending on the video file of course, it definitely struggles to play stutter free 1080p and 4k video, unless you completely strip down windows services and features and close all other apps. But to be fair, it can also struggle with multiple open webpages. The installed Windows is an Education license. We quickly adjusted that to retail Pro but even with more control to disable or add features, the NV41 still struggles.Having only 4gb of soldered ram is the mainbottle neck here. If they had simply allowed upgradable ram, this device would not bog down so quickly. Windows and intel video will easily use 2-3gb of that leaving media apps starving. Plex was as bad, and you can just forget about any flavour of practical transcoding. As a linux box it would likely fair rather well, but i ran out of patience to try it.Doesn't get very hot, super tiny, allows full access to bios - but there is no documentation about this device - other than how to connect a cable or add an hdd - so there is clear way to change the boot drive from the eMMC. And I didn't want to play around to find it.We did add an internal 500g ssd and it does access that and an external usb3 raid without issue.Lan and Wi-Fi are fine - but expect resource overhead depending on data source. This would be great for light video / music media, or as a torrent box / freeNAS, or even as a basic ms office workstation - but it is not a very good basic fanless HTPC or multitasking. We're going to spend a tad more and go the Intel NUC route. At least that way we can tweak it for performance and still keep the small size.I'm not unhappy that we bought it - well i am, but it isn't a bad device - and I had no illusions as to it being a possible "bitcoin rig while streaming live transcoding 4k HDR10 video"... We just wanted a box similar to an nvidia shield that we could tweak for kodi.... And it cannot do this very well.

Small PC for normal day to day tasks!
The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a small form factor PC to put under my desk to use for editing documents, browsing the web, and some other day-to-day tasks. I saw the AWOW PC and thought it would fit nicely on a shelf under my desk. The PC is really well built and has an all metal chassis, dual output for my monitors, wifi, bluetooth, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage which you can upgrade with an M2 or SSD drive. When I was using the computer it was very fast performing the tasks I did on it including editing documents, watching some videos and browsing the internet. I also added a spare SSD I had to increase the storage. One nice feature is it turns on automatically when you turn on the power so if you want to use it as a small server, or media centre it would stay powered on if you needed it to. The machine is really quiet when running, and boots up and runs fast! Really impressed with the PC!Remember to purchase a keyboard and mouse to go with it, it has Bluetooth so this would make it a truly wireless unit.Check out my video for more info!

Pretty good mini PC for basic browsing, video watching, document creation
This PC would cover most day-to-day tasks for an average computer user. Chrome or Firefox, watching some videos, and using word processor and spreadsheet. Probably would make a decent workplace fleet terminal. The power draw is very low (under 30 watts at peak?). The CPU is passively cooled; there are no moving parts in this system, which is great as it's completely silent and generates very little heat. Having an 8th Gen Intel CPU is handy if you want to watch 4K video, it will HW accelerate decoding h.264 and h.265 (HEVC) content to play it back with ease.Easy to add more SSD storage capacity in either M.2 NVMe or SATA 2.5".It seems that it is not possible to add RAM. So 4GB is it. I would be really awesome to have the ability to add more or for there to be an 8GB option.

Good performance for a reasonable price
It’s not the most powerful computer and I had to purchase a SSD chip for more capacity, but it runs very fast when stripped down to just basic programs. I use it for astrophotography, so just have those related programs loaded and I control the computer wirelessly using my iPad. And the bonus is that I power the computer and my other equipment off the same 12v battery booster pack. So completely wireless operation.
