Tight push to fit, but work well

Used this as a replacement for originals of duravit toilet.I found the dimensions shown in the website to be incorrect and misleading. I only ordered these because I could not find any offered showing dimensions to match the original and the related parts.In reality these fitted perfectly - it was the drawing that was wrong - surprising!If buying take care to warm in water per instructions - this had been a concern of some reviewers. I found they fitted well, with just a light tap into place.Fair value for a good job.

Takes a good bit of strength to get them installed but brilliant!

Just a word of warning. The instructions for these include warming them in a pan of water at 60c for 10 minutes to slightly soften the plastic for insertion. Perhaps (a) my water was too warm or (b) I didn’t leave the plug to cool for long enough once inserted, but as soon as I inserted the screw the nut at the end of the plug got pushed out, disappearing somewhere in the depths of the toilet.Thankfully my wife managed to remove the plug as I sat in the corner weeping. After another try with the other plug in the pair just using Vaseline as a lubricant and a rubber mallet, all is now as it should be.

So it turned out that I needed M5 size bolts for these. My Duravit toilet could only take 3cm long M5 bolts.

Followed the instructions included in the package and it worked perfectly. I have been looking for other parts before but they didn't fit properly.

These are original Duravit toilet seat fixing plugs and fits only Duravit branded toilet. Made of sturdy materials. You need to immerse in 60c warm water to soften the plugs so that it is easier to insert into the toilet. Have a rubber mallet handy to avoid damaging the toilet or if you don't have one use a rag to provide cushioning and gently tap the fixing into the toilet with a hammer.
