SIA CGH60SS 60cm Stainless Steel Curved Glass Chimney Cooker Hood Extractor Fan [Energy Class B]

Purchased to replace an existing similar cooker hood that had given up after 10 years. Was relatively easy to install if you follow the instructions and watch a few youtube videos of similar products. It is a little noisy and you have to have it on level 2 to make a real difference, but at this price point it works and looks good so no complaints really.

As my first cooker hood purchase, I found it difficult to compare with others, but overall, I'm quite satisfied. The design is very sleek and has completed the decor of my kitchen beautifully. It's easy to use and straightforward to install. However, the stainless steel finish does attract a lot of fingerprints and can be challenging to clean without leaving streaks. It's a bit noisy, but not excessively so. One downside is that it doesn't come with a filter, which would have been a nice addition. Despite these minor issues, I believe it's good value for money as it performs its job very well.

Looks good in my kitchen, no complaints.No problems registering the warranty, I just called the customer service number for 'Ship It Appliances' and they helped me.

The cooker hood quality is probably what might be expected for the low price point (functional, but nothing exceptional). My handyman found it to be a bit fiddly to install and the fingerprint clean up was very difficult afterwards. It's also worth mentioning that if, like me you are replacing a metal hood chimney style version with a glass one like this, the decorative chimney might not be long enough and this was one of the things which caused some of the extra "fiddle & faff" in my case. I would say that the noise level on full speed is quite loud and although that isn't something which bothers me particularly, it may be a factor for you. Appearance is okay, light is a bit small and a lot more cold blueish tone than most under cupboard kitchen lights. When I tried to register for the 5 year guarantee on the Ship it appliances website - as instructed on the enclosed card - the web form would not recognize or accept the invoice details from Amazon. After contacting Ship it appliances I was told that maybe Amazon would probably be responsible for registering it. Having felt like I was being fobbed off (have never heard of a selling platform being involved with product guarantees before) I decided to cut my losses and take my chances with the products durability. You may wish to consider this before making a decision to purchase.

This item was delivered in good time, the outer packaging was not damaged, in any wayHowever, On closer inspection, the motor housing was completely broken away, and only held in place by the wires.The filter came in its own jiffy envelope, but when opened was found to be crushed and useless,One of the exhaust flaps hinge pins on the top of the unit was broken and subsequently uselessThis item was dispatched with No Plug fitted just Bare wires.I would not, in any way, recommend buying this item.

Fantastic, works well and does the job

Arrived but damaged, luckily my husband was able to fix it, a plastic casing for the fan was cracked. For the money it looks nice, has a nice bright light and seems powerful so overall pleased.
