good buy
works well especially for the low price - have reviewed a lot of theses WIFI extenders. no matter how low or high the price, they all have the same complaints or praise, so I decided I might as well just buy el cheapo and wa la, it works!!! Now I won't have to be concerned about wasting a lot of dough for crap

It Ressurects the Dead Wi-Fi Spots
This device is an easy, inexpensive solution to any Wi-Fi "dead spots" in your home. The extender works especially well in ranch-style homes with long hallways and distant bedrooms; simply plug in one of these devices at the hallway threshold, and enjoy a strong signal all the way down the hall.As is the case with TP-Link products in general, installation could not have been simpler. Since I have a TP-Link router, TP-Link AC1750 Wireless Wi-Fi Gigabit Router (Archer C8), the TP Tether app made synching the extender to the router a 10-second procedure. If you have another brand of router installation is still easy, as the instructions for installation are just a handful of easy steps.My only complaint about the extender is the excessive packaging (think Apple products) surrounding this device; it is a utilitarian object with no need for an "unboxing experience."I highly recommend this device!

Just what I needed
I do a lot of computer work as a side business. Since I have a computer setup on my work bench in the garage, I wanted to have an internet connection. What I did not want to do is run cable up one wall, through the attic, and down another wall. I place this device halfway between the WiFi modem/router and the garage.....now I get 5 bars on a wireless connection in the garage! Big plus. Also, my Amazon Fire Stick in the den connects to it and I no longer have any buffering or loss of signal while streaming!

They are so very easy to install and work absolutely flawlessly
This is the second one of these extenders I have purchased. They are so very easy to install and work absolutely flawlessly. I use them with my Ring Doorbell and Ring security floodlight camera. It took them from marginally working to excellent. I recommend them highly.

Waste of $
Sadly this wifi extender is a waste of money. This wifi extender continually drops the link to my tp-link wifi router and I have to reinstall again and again. This range extender rarely works and when it does, it just confuses the tp-link WI router and the other devices on my wifi network.Please spend a few dollars more and save yourself some time and frustration.

BOUGHT THIS EXTENDER AND AM MOST HAPPY WITH ITS EASY INSTALLATION AND IT ALSO WORKS!! Going to buy my second now and trust it will work along with the first extender.
