I bought this as I needed a lamp which could do daylight whites and be bright >800 lumens (LM). Given this lamp is advertised as 6000k temperature and up to 1000LM I thought I was on to a winner.Sadly on receiving the lamp, it became clear it was quite dim no where near 1000 lumens. Looking through the manual it states this product only goes up to 330LM, acceptable if you want to do some bed time reading. But no where near what I needed for detailed work.I contacted their customer support to let them know to change the advertised 1000LM (we all make errors) but they have not done so. Leaving me little choice but to post this review as a warning to others, if you are buying for brightness/work rather then cosy reading please avoid.

I liked the design and the brightness was good at max setting, the joints are tight enought to hold position but loose enough to move smoothly and the three different colour settings are good, warm, neutral and cool.Loses points for a couple of really silly design choices though, the power button cycles the colours so you go ON colour1 - OFF - ON colour 2 - OFF ON colour 3 - OFF meaning if you have a favourite colour you have to switch in on 5 times every time you use it. This would have been far better with a separate colour button that stayed at it's previous setting and a power button that just turned on and off.The other problem is that looking at the design you would assume this all folds up into a nice slim vertical package BUT the final elbow won't fold back on itself meaning the light is at 90 degrees to the arm when folded up which is a little awkward as it leaves the light lying accross your desk surface.

So i bought this lamp to pimp my studio desk and it is incredibly chic in black. Im in love with it but it has some obvious failings.The thing is basically only bright enough for a bedside light. The dimming functions are pretty useless if unless you want to use it literally in bed. I had hoped to use it as an ambient room light, but its not bright enough for that... i suppose its a desk light afterall but i had the impression based on the output rating it was advertised with.Another thing I love about this lamp is the 3 colours of light. The daylight temperature is absolutely perfect. On overcast days i put it on and it adds a little pep to my day. The warm yellow light us an excellent representatiin of incandescent bulb also. I dont much like the bluish setting... but the day light is absilute gold.The lamp arm is incredibly articulate and very useable. It helps the materials are very lightweight, so it moves and positions very assuredly. You can trnsion the bolts too to increase tension. The only draw back is that the final finger containing the bulbs doesnt fold flat against the other arms.I love this lamp, i just wish it was brighter... i may buy another!

One of the best investments I've made for my desk set up! I highly recommend this to anyone who really needs a sturdy light source that has adjustability for your comfort while still doing the job extremely well! The different lighting levels really help a lot for your eyes whether you're reading, writing or simply in need of a night light.However, only downsides in my opinion are:The screws could use some tightening since the base screw can often be loose causing it to fold when stretched a certain amount.One last downside is the wire! I really think that the plug is very bulky for this and the input tip needs to be more secure but being able to 'click' in or go in further rather than barely being in the lamp which can cause the wire to unplug.Overall these issues are a fraction of the overall lamp and I can't comprehend how much this is worth buying, especially when there are little add ons such as a remote that works well and the extreme adjustability /flexibility of the lamp.

A stylish modern desk light that looks expensive.I've just finished making my new office and needed a desk light. My desk is fairly narrow so I wanted something I could clip onto a shelf and wouldn't take up much room whilst still looking great.I opted for the gold version as I wanted it to compliment my white office.The lamp is easy to set up just slot the pieces together, make sure you push them all the way in. Plug it in and then turn it on using the remote or the button on the lamp.By pressing the power button you switch between lighting styles, you can then dim the light with the +- buttons.The light can be manouvered into lots of positions and then folded nearly away when not needed which is very handy.At first the light doesn't appear to be very bright but that's because it's LED and doesn't leak light like traditional lamps. As such the light underneath the light is very good and the colour options allow for a choice of warmth which is perfect for close up work.I have noticed the lamp where the LED's are does get a little warm.An improvement for me would have been if the cable could have connected at the bottom of the lamp and not athe side but that just down to how I have the lamp set up.I'm hopeful I can set the lamp up with Logitech harmony so can voice control the lamp with alexa, I will update when I get time to test this. If I canr I will just add my Alexa Switches to control the on and off functions.

It does exactly what it sets out to. It's a nice and sleek desk light, it doesnt take up space on your desk and it complements very well any contemporary kind of aesthetic. It shines 3 shades of white light, cold white, bright white and warm white. The first 2 feel way to cold for me so i end up always using the warm white, the dimmer also works well so there's always the option to dim it down. I am very pleased with this purchase, it's exactly what i wanted and am happy i came across this listing. I would recommend to others.
