Nice pen, but there are issues, still, worthy of the price.
I love the pens, as I bought two of them, but there are a couple of things, and in anticipation of questions: 1.) It comes with two cartridges only; if there is a "converter" for bottled ink, it must be separate, as I checked both packages, and there were only cartridges; 2.) The plastic that the cartridges are made from is a little light, I tried to put the cartridge on the table and push it into the nib, it bent; had to hold the next one and gently push it in; 3.) It is a little sensitive, i.e., when you squeeze it, if you do too much, it shoots out the ink, I was a little more gentle with the next one and no spills [I ruined a shirt with a leaking pen]; finally, 4.) It has it's own exclusive refills, as "international" cartridges or any other brand wont work. (I'm checking into the price of "Sailor" cartridges, and possibly the converter, if there is one. Finally, the instructions are all in Japanese, without translation, but the pictures are self-explanatory enough to overcome this. Despite these factors, it has a nice finish, is lightweight, and writes note, and is reasonable for the price. [I need to quit buying pens, but this one was worth it.]

Magical.
Shorter than expected, but also much nicer than expected. There are several Sailor pens in my collection and none of them disappoint, but this one is the most pleasant to look at, in my subjective opinion. The black has a sort of metallic flake/iridescent scale, as if crafted by fairy folk. Quite lightweight, and the profile is easier to tuck into a pocket or journal than the bloated body of a Montblanc. The nib is typical Sailor quality, no comment necessary there.

Not as smooth as the Pilot Metropolitan. Doesn't come with a converter.
The Sailor Lecoule (Rekuru Power Stone) is OK. It writes a little scratchy. It has a nice screw-on cap. But the Pilot Metropolitan & Pilot Prera are more pleasurable to write with & look at. For this price range, I prefer the Pilot Prera.
