Essentially this is a enhanced revision of the Original Hella G5 Projector, which is what the Morimoto D2S 4.0 Bixenon projector is based off of. While very similar in comparison, there are a few differences. The main difference is the shield type, the G5 has a straight shield and the Morimoto D2S 4.0 has a curved shield.Easy-Install: The threaded shaft makes it super easy to install. H4 is direct with the supplied mounting plate. These bolt right on many models with the provided hardware - some headlights may require cutting.G5-EX Projectors:Versatile:Compatibility with D2S, D4S, D1S, and D3S!Custom Mount Only: This unit does NOT come with the threaded shaft. We recommend "nut and bolt" installation; last option being using epoxy only. This may require a little extra time compared to a "thread on" HID projector retrofit.
