This is such a great idea for ground feeder. It’s is great to cover up unwanted posts or cylinder items that look unpleasant. I read the story behind idea and it’s great. I love the look for a planter and hoping to hear they made smaller sizes cause I’m hoping to put a few flower pots for my flowers and herb of all sizes and want to encourage wildlife to relax in a safe little haven at my house on the outskirts of downtown.So about this product. It has a shelf that has a little rubber piece for cleaning to make it easier. If put in something of course it will be sturdy. I have mine sitting on my ground deck (my backyard is uphill as you see in picture) this corner or course makes a great way of keeping the wind from blowing it down along with the 20lbs or weight before food is added. Already ready for the winter storms to finish up so the little ones can come out and enjoy the new year with us.

So, I thought this was going to be a great edition to my yard. Easy height for me to fill, easy for the birds and squirrels. However, it also is easy to pull over, and once it does, it cracks pretty easily. Because it is hollow, it is not safe from raccoons.

As the size of "feeder" is a bit too large, and top heavy in that configuration, I decided to turn it upside down for better stability and added a small basket which I also purchased @amazon to fill bird feed as shown in the pics. It is easier to clean the feeder that way. Birds and squirrels quickly found it, and started coming. I really like the product.

We've got several bird feeders throughout our yard and get a lot of enjoyment in seeing the birds (and even the squirrels) take turns in feeding throughout the day. The Natures Feast Feeder is the perfect addition to our little wildlife sanctuary. Within hours of placing the feeder in our yard we had a steady stream of cardinals, doves, finches, thrushes and squirrels taking turns eating from the Feeder. I love this Feeder and am going to get another for my sister as soon as it is restocked. Great idea!!

Heavy but not heavy enough to prevent the deer from knocking over. The product doesn't drain so if it rains & I don't empty it out frequently enough mosquitos start laying eggs. Too late to return so I'll probably put a potted plant in it I guess.
