Pretty but useless if you want to use it as wrapping paper!
I needed a “wrapping paper roll” so I entered that on the Amazon search bar on my Amazon phone app. These rolls came up on the third page. I did not notice that nowhere in the description did it mention wrapping. It is NOT wrapping paper. It is ART paper! As this been flagged up I would not have bought it, or I would have read the reviews! My review here is based on it having been listed under wrapping paper rolls in the “search” results! It really should NOT be listed there at all!When I unboxed it I was delighted as it looked like a bright pink sparkly, glittery, thick roll of wrapping paper.Unfortunately it’s impossible to wrap anything with this paper as sticky tape just falls straight off the glittery side (with some shedding glitter sticking to it, but not sticking to the actual wrapping paper!). It doesn’t adhere at all.The glitter also goes everywhere - it’s now on my clothes and on my bed (I know in hindsight that I should have started this on a table, rather than on a bed!).I then tried using glue dots - but they don’t stay stuck to the glittery side either - I have used a whole packet of them and they are peeling off as we speak.Let’s be honest, you have to be able to stick both sides of wrapping paper, unless you are some kind of wrapping guru! This paper however is NOT wrapping paper! I wish I’d realised this BEFORE I tried using it as now that I have cut it, I can’t even return it for a refund.Anyhow, I will probably have to just tie it on to the present now, with string or ribbon instead - at further expense and inconvenience - as I do not want to resort to superglue or gorilla tape, like others have mentioned in their reviews here.I am soooo disappointed as this was bought as wrapping paper and as such it is definitely not fit for purpose, as you can’t actually wrap with it.As for other uses instead of wrapping - maybe it’d make a pretty drawer liner (as they don’t need to be stuck on the glittery side) but that’s only if you don’t mind having a rough texture (think Emery board surface!) with glitter shedding everywhere.Just wish I’d read the other reviews about wrapping before buying!I’ve included photos of the paper, tape that fell off, and shedded glitter, taken within minutes of opening the roll.You live and learn!

Gorgeous paper, quality on a roll!
Oh my, this paper is gorgeous!!! The sparkle is amazing. I wanted to just hang it on the wall, I can see why its suggested for display projects. It's thickness is very good, 2 maybe 3 times thicker than wrapping paper, which is what I bought it for.You cannot use cellotape on it so I tied it up, I loved the results. In future I will be buying a selection of colours!!

Not cheap tat!
The paper is quality made and thick. You'll struggle to tape it down so better to use a ribbon. Also try not to make creases in the paper because doing this forces some of the glitter to come off. Perfect for clothing or something without angles but unless you have exceptional wrapping skills you'll struggle to make the perfect folds/creases to wrap boxes with.

Think what you are intending to use it for.
Beautiful quality paper, but be mindful what you are purchasing it for. Ideal for crafting but I bought it to wrap a special present and then discovered that tape does not stick to it very well as the glitter dislodges and so it can not get a grip, even struggled with a glue gun on the glitter side. But like I say, nice expensive quality for crafting if you can stick using the reverse side.

Nice paper not ideal for wrapping however.
This looks lovely and is lovely however if your using it to wrap presents it is hard to get it to stick! The paper is thick and very nice to look at. The glitter doesn’t rub off easily which is a major plus.

Beautiful blue glitter paper
Beautiful colour, just what my daughter wanted for her birthday paper, only downside is if using as wrapping paper its impossible to use sellotape as it doesn't stick, would need to use something else, I got round it by tying ribbons around to secure, hence only 4 stars.

Not wrapping paper!
Paper itself is beautiful. This should come with a disclaimer though that sellotape does not stick to paper AT ALL! Maybe good for craft etc but do not buy if it’s for wrapping presents, it does not work.

Unnecessary packaging, but good.
Thought I'd treated myself to a new TV when it arrived, one roll glitter paper in a box big enough to be Bury gemma Collins in and still have space. Not used the roll yet, but looks good.
