Very high quality - please use appropriately.
These are very nice silicate tubes, if you intend on using these for anything in tube form, heat treating the ends is an important step. These are saw cut so the ends of the tubing is delicate and is not safe to use for straws. Just use a poly carbonate tube if you intend to use as a straw.great for specialized heat shaped glass for experiments or equipment

Great tubes to use in gas collection experiments
These glass tubes bent easily after heating in a strong Bunsen burner flame to generate tubes such as elongated 'Z' shapes to enable the collection of gases generated in large boiling tube reactions for high school chemical experiments.

Had my doubts it's genuine boro glass.
One of the usual ways you can tell borosilicate glass from normal soda lime glass is that soda lime usually has a distinct green color to it when you look through any amount of thickness, while true and proper boro glass is either clear or slightly yellow. So, I was a bit skeptical of this purchase when I first opened it and noticed this textbook green color. However, after firing up the torch and pulling a few dozen capillary tubes, as well as moving the glass around in other ways, I could tell right away it is fairly good glass, no matter the composition. I will say it melts rather easy, which, again, is another indicator that it's probably soda lime. In either case, I was pleased to find that (save for one incident) it didn't shatter or crack when subject to REASONABLE heat shock or reheating, which I guess is all that really matters in the end. Bottom line, if you have some specific and particular need for exactly borosilicate, then this may not be the purchase for you. If all you're after is boro's heat shock resistance and workability, then this stuff is fine, at least in my eyes. I would hesitate to use it for something that was going to be heated and cooled regularly as a part of it's final function. (also note that I'm no glass expert. This is just a means to an end for me)

Touch to get a good bubble without it breaking.
It was way to small for my intended use (blowing Christmas ornaments of course). when glass would be tough to get budging but when it goes if your not careful you'll pop the bubble quick. When they say 8mm they mean the outside fyi peaps. I didn't take that into consideration when I bought them, so my bad. Definitely had quite a few of them for a while..

Worth the money
Did not like to bend well. Could not find the "just right temp" but it could very well be me. I would buy it again if needed
