Good product
Nicely made cheap little storage bin. Serves it's purpose pretty well. Installs with double sided tape. Just stick it on there and go. My only concern is being able to pop the shift console bezel off without breaking anything.

Doesn't work
We have a 2 door TJ and I got this for my husband for some extra space for his cell phone. This does not work if you ever push your passenger seat forward(to access the back seat), it will hit this and break or come off. My husband was checking out the fit in his TJ and realized this so I am returning it.

Works great as a phone holder
Honestly, the adhesion lasted about 3 minutes. We cleaned the area with alcohol and allowed it to dry before trying to attach it. We ended up screwing it on. We are very happy with it! It is a great place for papers and phones while traveling.

item lays flat on top but a noticable gap on the side.
I looked at pictures of the item and how it wrapped around the 90 degree edge - the pictures looked good but one i got had a large gap - did not conform to the slope looking at it from the driver side. I am still on edge to return this as the gap doesn't look good. Little extra storage is nice but the side of the seat does rub up against it as well. Tape did not stick even though console was cleaned with rubbing alcohol and glass cleaner several times.

Very handy storage for a Jeep TJ
Very handy storage for a Jeep TJ. Installs easy and adheres well (so far ... will see over time how it holds). The only issue is that it is difficult for the front passenger seat to clear the unit when it is slid forward and raised for access to the back seat - very tight fit - have to slide the seat forward all the way first and then raise the seat. Not ideal but okay.

Awesome holder!!
For such a simple product this really has made me happy with this purchase. The fit is nicely contoured So it's out of the way. Also for those concerned about the seat folding forward and hitting it, no need to worry. I checked and it's tucked in perfectly. Highly recommended!!

Sorta sticks, kinda fits, and kinda provides storage
Pardon my dirty jeep pics, but I wanted to show exactly why I'm disappointed in this. The dimensions are measured at the very top, so they're not technically wrong. I do feel they're a bit deceptive though. The pocket kicks in around the console and then tapers down to about 1/4" wide at the bottom . It'll hold your phone if your case isn't too thick. (otterbox commuter on my iphone fits, but the defender on Dad's only lets it go about halfway in) Your wallet might fit if you're poor...and driving a 14+ year old Jeep probably makes that more likely. Note that it's not even wide enough for the lighter in the pic to go to the bottom. The wide part on the front is a little better, but it's not even an inch wide down inside the the pocket. I cleaned the side of the console with 90% alcohol before installing it. It stuck, but it still moves around a bit. I suspect only part of the tape stuck. Eventually the seat will remove it as there is a healthy amount of contact between it and the seat when you flip the seat forward. It does not work with my seat covers on as others have mentioned. I'll probably remove it and buy some other form of cell phone holder as that's about all it will hold. It's not worth the loss of my seat covers.
