I have played with wood putty and waxes.. but NOTHING every worked for our new floors. Then I tried this.... simple concept... stain the wood and seal it. Perfect! Sure it does not fill in a scratch, but it sure makes the bare pine look like a normal character flaw in the wood.I recommend this for those areas that just need to be colorized to match. Perfect blend as well. I thought it was dark at first but wiping it away left a perfect matching color.

Simply smoothes scratches and dings in prized mahogany furniture without leaving any residue where finish is solid. Just draw over scratch, then smooth with finger. Voila!

Horrible
If I could give negative stars I would. This product doesn’t even deserve one star. I’ve been using the Minwax touch up pens for years. For some unknown reason I tried the Varathane product this time. It’s awful. It’s not a stain, it doesn’t soak in. My table looks like a child touched it up. With the Minwax I let the stain sit on the scratches for a couple of minutes and then wipe it off and you can’t even tell if there was a scratch. With the junk Varathane product it looks like a marker was used. Unfortunately I also used this product on my hardwood floors. I expected it to soak in but it just dries on top. Awful. Truly awful product. All I can do at this point is hope it wears off quickly.
