Crashed my Computer!
Somehow this tiny little thing caused the computers to recognize a power threat and they would auto shut down. Increased as the keyboard aged so that it automatically shut down instantly after pressing any key.Spent almost $2k trying to solve this "electrical" issue in my house. Not to say all the upgrades aren't an improvement. Just that for less than a twenty dollar bill I could get a new keyboard/mouse. And before you ask, no it could not have been anything else. I'm putting this out there for anyone else having computer shut down issues. Just try replacing this keyboard and mouse with a completely different set (make sure to unplug the usb receiver from your computer!) to see if that solves your issue too. I'm satisfied with just finding the cause and tossing this keyboard and mouse in the trash. (I was about to buy another new TV and re-line from my new fusebox, to all the outlets on this fuse).

Mouse too small; hand started hurting within hours. ...
Mouse too small; hand started hurting within hours. Keyboard lacks some important keys or anyway to replicate them. There is no PRINT SCREEN and no way of replicating that key. Ctrl-Left Arrow is supposed to replace the missing HOME key -- but it behaves incorrectly -- HOME should send the cursor to the beginning of the line; instead, it sends it to the beginning of the words. Same problem with Ctrl-Right Arrow and the missing END. No instructions on re-assigning keystrokes. Cannot enter alt-codes. UPDATE: Changed from 2 to 3 stars. Using another mouse with the keyboard. (You can pair multiple mice and keyboards to the single USB nano receiver simultaneously without conflict.) There is sometimes a lag in keyboard response -- but that may be a wireless issue not specific to this keyboard. I've completed several complex word processing tasks, and the short-comings haven't been enough for me to get out of my chair, cross the room, grab my old hard-wired keyboard and plug it in. AnkerDirect support contacted me directly; they were very nice, offering a full refund though I didn't even ask.

A truly portable wireless mouse.
I really love the compact keyboard. The keys aren't smaller or packed tighter, it just doesn't have all of those other buttons I rarely (if ever) use, and that alone makes it fit nicely on my small desk and lap. Like, who really uses a numeric keypad anymore-- yet the vast majority of keyboards out there insist we all be accountants. Even wireless keyboards I guess for accountants with multiple sets of books. Back in the pre-USB days you were allowed one mouse and one keyboard. It is time we split that keyboard so the keypad is a separate device. This is definitely a step in the right direction.I have mixed emotions about the mouse but will give it thumbs up too. Its strategy for long battery life is to go to sleep after 4 minutes (or some other short period of time that I can't control). You can't just nudge it to bring it back, you have to click one of the buttons. We live in a world where web-based efficiency is measured in the number of clicks from here to there. You guys just added a click. Personally I click the DPI button as it doesn't do anything otherwise except wake up the mouse. But, like I said, battery life is also important so I will do the click for a good cause.

Keyboard Ok (though wireless signal drops and some keys missing); Mouse Not Good
Keyboard: - The Good: The keys have a nice feel to them when pressed. - The Bad: My USB receiver is only 36 inches away from the keyboard yet every once in awhile it will miss individual keystrokes and occasionally stop working entirely for a short period of time (like 30 seconds or so). Also, while I like the slim design but it comes at a cost: there is no Prt Scr button and Home and End buttons can only be accessed in conjunction with the Fn key. The keyboard on my laptop is only 0.75" wider than this keyboard which allows it to provide all of these buttons, no Fn key needed. There's a trade off between size and functionality and I think in this case a small increase in size would increase functionality significantly. The Mouse: - The Good: It performs basic mouse functions. - The Bad: As other reviewers have pointed out, the mouse is definitely the dud of the duo. While it performs basic mouse functions it does them with neither style nor comfort. The mouse feels too light and does not conform to my hand. It seems to peak too far towards the palm and be too low towards the fingers. It does not naturally follow the contours of the hand. Not sure what they were thinking when they designed the shape of this. When I bought this the keyboard and mouse combo were the same price. Now they're charging $10 extra for the mouse. I say if it's free, get the mouse - you've got nothing to lose. But don't pay extra for the mouse. I picked up a "Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000" on Amazon for $13 and can attest that it is a far superior mouse and a product I can highly recommend.

Good value for money!.....I thought....but I was mistaken
The products works like it should. Right out of the box it was immediate PnP. Its rigid, compact and reasonably light, around 8 ounces - plus or minus 2. . Keys are sturdy and amply sized. Works with two AAA batteries. I wished there was back light on this one. However, it delivered as expected for most part.. The mouse is ultra light, even with a single AAA battery within. They are both east to port. Not sure about battery life as yet. I will keep you posted. I gave the kit four stars because neither the keyboard or mouse has an off/on switch, and the mouse is not too ergonomic. But for the price it quite acceptable. compares well with competing expensive models..UPDATE..........Keyboard is still working, but the mouse has failed terribly....for the past several months....thought no heavy use. The pointer keeps moving after you've stopped moving the mouse....it would not complete or select the right highlights. It closed windows when you simply click on the tab to bring them back into focus...this has turned out to be very frustrating. Now I have had to use separate mouse and keyboard USB devices, using up my scarece ports. I am shopping for a replacement....i am quite certain I will think twice before shopping Anker products.

ANKER CB100 WIRELESS SLIM KEYBOARD AND MOUSE COMBO
I bought this item as I needed a small keyboard and mouse for my new desktop PC. The space I have is limited, and after a review of similar products this seemed to be what best suited my requirements.I wanted to give a fair review so i have given this product a couple of month heavy use, and it has preformed very well.First of all the keyboard, it is well made feels sturdy for such a flimsy keyboard, the keys are responsive and well spaced and it feels very stable (only imporvment i would suggest is bigger cursor keys) the mouse i did feel was to small and infact have replaced it with a logitech product, the wireless transmitter for both the mouse and keyboard no problems or lag.In general if you are looking for a slim keyboard i would take a look at this product, maybe condsider if like me you have larger hands get a different mouse.

Very good quality and value until faulty in less than 6 months !
I bought this to use with my laptop from my armchair when streaming videos etc to my TV. Absolutely perfect for this.It is compact by not having the little used numeric keypad etc.But still has an otherwise full size keyboard with all functions.Whilst there are smaller keyboards I much prefer using a mouse over a touch-pad so that is another space saving.I can not fault it in any way so a full 5 star from me. NO I have revised it to one star when some keys stopped working after less than 6 months of low usage - total crap.

i love this keyboard
i love this keyboard.its quirky to say the least. in windows 7 because its a US layout the pound sign isnt to be found and the @ symbol isnt even where it says it is on the key! on windows 8 the @ symbol is back which is represented on the keyboard where it should be but theres absolutely no £ sign what so ever. you have to go onto google and find the £ sign. annoying well thats up to you but if youre like me who doesnt reall do much typing and has no call for the £ hardly at all then its a lovely keyboard. if youre going to do a lot of typing and need the £ a lot then this will annoy you for sure.

neat and tidy
this items are not set up as a standart english keyboard. It is neat and very useful with having any leads dangling. The keyboard is slightly raised at the rear where the batteries are, thats fine, the @ sign is NOT where it is showned on the keyboard . @ is caps lock and commor.the abreation of " is where the @ should be.The plus is it fits any type of table, laptop or computer. The mouse that is a part of the deal is a nice fit for a womans hand or small mans,BATTERY OPERATED,You can change the SETTING TO RESPOND SLOW TO QUICK RESPONSE

Great for Smart TV access
I purchased this to use with my smart TV instead of the drudgery of the on-screen input. It works a real treat. It has a small footprint and tucks away at the side of the TV minding its own business until required. The mouse is just what you would expect for the price, but it does it well enough. The wireless range is easily across the room (hence great for the TV).Having said that, I would not want it as a main keyboard for a PC. Its keys are rubbery and do not feel right for serious typing, hence the 4 stars.

Wouldn't advise
Bought this and it was nice size and compact but had an issue with the dongle being damaged. The company was fair and gave me a replacement which was fine for a few weeks but it didn't take long before I started having issues with the mouse. I can only be about 1 meter away from the dongle otherwise it does not receive any response from the mouse. So while it is wireless, it isn't ideal if you are sitting a distance from your PC (I was using mine on the lounge TV and sitting on my sofa which is about 3 - 4 meters away).

Mixed feelings on this one
It's a nice weighted keyboard, however I didn't realise until I got it that it wasn't a UK layout; but I can cope with that. What I find annoying is that I'm sat less than 6 feet from the pc typing & some times the keyboard loses it's connection if there's a cup in the way or something similar. It's certainly better than the last cheap one I had, but if I'd paid full price for this set; I'd have felt ripped off.Update: The seller contacted me directly after my review & then sent a replacement which is working fine. Therefore I have changed my rating from 3 to 5 stars. The downside is still the fact that a couple of keys are marked up wrong for the UK, but you get used to it.

Would be good for carrying arouind in a laptop bag
Nice and neat keyboard/mouse combo. Worked straight out of the box. Arrived on time. Well packed. Keyboard layout is qwerty but a few keys return a different value, you just have to get used to them. I miss the extra keys, number keypad and so on, but you have to make some saxcrifices for a portable solution, otherwise you need to use a full size keyboard. That isn't an option as this is used on our mobile sales office / roadshow so space is at a premium. Fits in the Varo CD boxes for easy transport.

Ideal for Single Board Computers such as Arduino and Pi's
I needed a small and lightweight keyboard and mouse for use with an SBC. I chose this chiefly because it was the cheapest as its planned usage was little. The keyboard and mouse were to be installed in a remote location and used only during setup and then switched off, batteries removed and placed in water tight bag so they would be available to the next user which maybe months or years ahead in the future. The keys have a nice movement and though light in weight both the keyboard and mouse have a quality feel and operation about then. I liked it so much I added an additional item to my next order for personal use.

If you have any use for them, pick them up.
Fantastic product, I made the right decision choosing this set. I feel like it was a steal for the price. Great build quality, size and design. Battery life absolutely fantastic. Use with both desktop and laptop, as well as media center control. -The mouse is a great size (medium I would say). Very light which has it's own pros and cons. Feels great in hand, never get tired or sweaty using it.Works on all surfaces tried, nice pointer speed, overall great to use.-Keyboard worried me at first, very small but perfect. The layout is great, everything you need and nothing else, the buttons are spaced well enough out, I don't press the wrong key much more than a full sized keyboard. Only complaint are the oddly shaped enter and delete key, which just take some getting used to.

Great value and pretty pleased
I've been searching for a compact keyboard to use with my Win 7 desktop for some time. Having had a Mac previously and loved the Apple wireless keyboard, I tried one: just found the compatibility with Windows too frustrating. I tried a Microsoft Windows Wedge Keyboard: great quality, but the keys were just too close together for my fat fingers. So, I thought I'd get one of these as a temporary measure whilst I search for something else. I don't think I'm going to bother!Yes, the US keyboard layout is a minor irritation and I have to say that the mouse is not fantastic quality (feels cheap and plasticy), but the keyboard is great, the batteries give it a decent weight, the media keys seem to work fine and it feels pretty well put together. Great value for £16!

Favourite keyboard of all times
Favourite keyboard of all times. Small, slim, heavy enough, not sliding on the table, good size of buttons. It had a good quality feel and my battery has been going for ever.

Excellent value and great customer support
Excellent value for money, nice product and worked perfectly for me. Fab customer service, too. I would not hesitate to buy another Anker product ...I have had Roccat, Razer, Microsoft and Logitech but for my replacement wireless mouse which my dogs have just eaten *again!* I am getting the same Anker mouse. The performance is excellent - it is the best mouse I have had for the money and I am very happy with the keyboard, again nice quality and solid build for the price.

NOT FOR GAMING
The keyboard is fine for every day computing but it is not suitable for gaming where the buttons during gameplay seem to stop functioning or keep activating when not pressed leading to a premature virtual demise, the mouse does not suffer any such problems whether its interference or not. swapped for wired keyboard with the anker mouse & it's all good.

i got one of the dodgy ones
well i got one of the dodgy ones as the "E" key jammed on all the timeto be honest i thought the keyboard was a little too small, well the actual keys were too small, and its an american style keyboard so you will notice the @ and the " keys are the wrong way round for UK users.might have got a better review if it wasn't faulty
