The one star review is clearly from someone who had no idea what they were buying and had done zero research into the product and solution beforehand.These plastic strips are an excellent invention to allow slate tiles to be used at a low pitch angle. For example, if you have an extension that you want to match to your existing slate roof on your house but the size of the extension only allows a lower pitch roof to be used.The strips go between two slates and support the slate to stop wind driven water and also to stop slates flapping in high wind.
