Q: I see this can cope up to 2000F but is that for a certain period of time? If it was left in a burning house for say 5 hours+ would it cope?

I have never tested it in a fire so I can’t say but it is very sturdy so I think it would withstand quite a lot

Q: Would a lever arch file fit in this?

I think it doubtful. I have about a dozen A4 plastic folders containing correspondence in mine and it’s a tight fit. I would however recommend it as it’s a good purchase.
