Dog Harnesses and Puppy Harness with Leashes Set, Adjustable Reflective Soft Corduroy Vest Fit Puppy Kitten Rabbit's Outdoor Harness, S (Chest: 10" - 12")

We bought the vest for our indoor cat who loves to roll around in the grass right outside our house (supervised at all times). She never went far until she saw a squirrel and chased it up a tree. After that she tried climbing our tree a couple of times so we were afraid to let her out. Now, with this comfortable and attractive vest with a leash, she can still go out and enjoy the fresh air without us worrying. She needs to get used to it a bit more, but we feel confident that she will. One drawback is that she can easily slip one paw through the opening. We are working on figuring out how to stop that.

I purchased this vest and leash for a large 18 pound Maine Coon cat. The measurements were 'off' for him - the chest and neck combinations didn't really fit any of the options, so I purchased an XL vest to match the larger chest measurement. The vest was usable but a bit big (the velcro overshot to some degree) and I exchanged it for a Large vest. The large fits my little beast perfectly. Cats seem to be able to squirm out of anything so I was very happy to find that when he did startle and pull against the leash outside, the vest held very securely with the velcro closure under the plastic snap buckle. He momentarily threw his entire weight against it and it held secure. The large size fits him perfectly around the neck and the chest. It looks very handsome and it has let me open up new worlds for my 15 year old indoor house cat. If you're purchasing for a large breed cat, it's possible you'll need the smaller size if it's a close call. I think it may be sized for dogs and dog anatomy is a bit different.

I purchased this to transport him to the vet and I am so glad I did. My cat is a rescue and he does not tolerate cages. He is terrified of them and urinates all over himself when he is in one. This leash set was a save. He struggled a little but I was able to put it on him without any help pretty quickly. I had him wear it around the house for a few minutes a couple of days before his appointment. At first it seems a little heavy for him and he kept tilting over but then I realized he was just being over dramatic. As soon as the food came out he immediately remembered how to walk with it on....I bought an X Small and it fits my cat perfectly. He is very thin and long and weights 8 lbs. The small would have been too loose.

I looked at the size chart and decided to buy a small for my cat, even though her measurements said medium I decided to size down. It came and was definitely too small, so I contacted the company about returning and getting the next size up. They reached out within hours and let me know they were sending a medium the next day and to keep the small to either give to a friend or donate which was so kind. The size medium came and was also unfortunately a bit snug. I again messaged the company telling them I would be happy to return the small or medium but they said to still keep them both and sent a large. It fit well! Great company and product, just size up!

The harnesses seem good and well made, with comfortable fabric (at least to the human touch). The only thing I have to say is the harnesses we got for our cats were a little too big, despite following the measurement guidelines. (We purchased Medium, should probably have gotten Small). So if you are getting for a cat instead of a dog, you might want to consider going for a smaller size if the measurements are near a border.

I wanted a vest that I could attach an esa patch to for my miniature pinscher, she has an 18" chest and is 15lbs. I bought the XL. It was a little big in the neck.. I was considering taking in a dart at her throat, but instead I added 1" to the velcro so it could close tighter around her chest and took out some of the length (about 2") in the strings on each side. With minimal sewing I managed to make this little vest fit pretty good. My little girl is comfortable and looks very professional. It does move around when using the leash if you pull, my girl still cant escape it. Overall if your dog is pretty calm and walks with you, it's not a problem.

The media could not be loaded.  I love this harness! The combination of the velcro and buckle clasp makes it very very secure. I will say-- I have two cats, and the cat that this harness fits on has a longer body structure. My other cat, who is about the same weight (12lbs) is smaller and stocker with a shorter neck and this harness fits a little awkwardly on him. Still, this is a great purchase, especially for the price.

The adjustment straps slip any time I have to pull on my dogs or they pull on me, making them useless to adjust the fit. Also in less than 6 months the velcro has worn out and barely holds on anymore (may last longer if you don't walk your dogs every day). Both of these issues are present on both of the harnesses that I bought, and now I have to go look for new ones
