For the price, this mattress pad is exactly what I expected and honestly, maybe even a little better. The quality feels solid and well made, especially considering how affordable it is. It fits my queen mattress perfectly, and the deep pockets stretch easily over a 16 inch mattress without slipping off the corners. The quilted top adds a nice layer of comfort without being too thick or bulky. It smooths everything out and makes the bed feel a little more plush. I’ve bought the Utopia padded mattress pad before and loved it, so decided to choose it again on a new guest bed. My previous one has lasted 6 years- it’s still fine. My mattress is 10 1/2-11” tall, this pad has plenty of extra material to fit several more inches. (My other mattress is 14”) it is padded on top. Let me say here I paid $119 at the mattress dealer several years ago, it looked almost the same, it had about the same padding thickness on top, the material felt the same . My other Utopia mattress pad is going on 7 years, and as comfortable and fitting as the expensive one. This pad came shrink wrapped in a slightly larger shoe box size. There was no odor, no rips, stains. I pre washed it, it didn’t shrink. It is soft and pliable. There is elastic all around to tuck under mattress. I’ve slept on it 2 nights and nothing slid off the mattress or corners. As you can see in the pictures, the sides are fairly thin, I can see my hand thru it, but as long as the top is padded it’s ok. You won’t regret buying it.

At first, I thought I would have to return it. The price just seemed too cheap. But I was pleased with the mattress pad in every way. The fit was perfect, the material was soft and well sewn. I am very happy with this purchase.

We bought one and were skeptical, reviews can be all over. We wanted a bed that was not firm as most bed in the boxes are, without getting a box springs under it. Well we ordered it, arrived quick, unpacked it. It puffed up within 8 hours, next day more. Right out of the box, quality seemed really decent for the price. Good bed edges for sitting on the edge of the bed, most sink. corners puffed up well. Comfort wise, we were really blown away. So, we ordered a second one right away for our other sons room. If this bed was firm, I'd say it. If this bed had a flaw, I'd say it. I layed on it after 4 days and wow, for the money, you won't be dissapointed. Is it a super soft plush, no, but it is very comfortable and we prefer plush soft. And for the money, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one, but we don't have any more empty bedrooms. No odor, great quality, comfort very good, not hot, and price excellent Well done.

Perfect! I needed this for my studio bed, something to protect the mattress with clients coming in and out (I’m a photographer). My mattress is very thin, 6” to be exact, so I was worried about how it would fit since it’s a deep pocket cover but it fit great! It’s not loud or doesn’t sound like plastic. I haven’t tested it’s leakproof yet but it looks to be great based on the under layer. It’s very comfy and adds a thin layer of padding to the mattress. I’m honeslty very impressed for the price!

Fits well, sheets don't slip on this material. Soft. Protects the mattress.
