I like the tripod. It has a level for for back-to-front, but not left-to-right. It is light weight and my S8 with an Otter case just fits. The vertical range is very good and it is stable even at maximum extension with my camera attached off to the side to take a vertical format (not landscape) photo. The remote may work with most cameras, but it does not work with my S8. It just zooms in (and not out) with the camera. It will not snap the picture. Curiously, if the camera app is closed it will also work to raise volume level (but not lower). I'm disappointed with the remote, but mainly I wanted a good tripod and that is what I received. Oh, I do appreciate the carry bag.

I needed a tripod to replace a broken one I bought years ago for my 35MM camera. But I also needed a tripod to support my cell phone for all the Zoom video calls I find myself in. This tripod does both! I don't use a tripod a lot for the 35MM camera, maybe 2 or 3 times a year. So I don't need a heavy duty tripod. Also, I don't need heavy duty for my cell phone. This tripod is right in my wheelhouse. Not the very cheapest on the market, but not very expensive either. If you intend to use your tripod a lot, you should probably get a more durable one. But for occasional users like me, it's just right. I'm satisfied with my early experience with it.

We have a traditional tripod for cameras, but nowadays, most pictures are taken with phones, which is easier to be shared on social networking apps. Last year's Thanksgiving holiday, we had a big family gathering, when we wanted to take a picture for the whole family with the mobile phone, we had to pile up books on the table to put the phone on. Before the Thanksgiving Holiday, I started to look for the tripod for the mobile phone and I am so glad that I found this one. It is very simple to set up and the remote control will make family pictures a breeze, you do not need to be in a hurry like we had done last holiday. The tripod is lightweight and portable, everything fits in a small bag. We will bring it for our Christmas vacation trip.

I bought this for my portable projector & the many functions it serves. I was super excited to find out that it fits my projector! My only issue & why I rated it 4 stars is because I wish it could hold my tablet like it does my phone. It's super easy & user friendly to carry & setup.

If you need it for small filming projects at home, it is excellent. It would not suite many professionals but it is pretty capable. Not great if you need to pan the camera (turn it left/right) standing since it feels bumpy in the transition and causes a lot of little jumps in the filming process. Some of the screws don't seem like you can tighten them adequately very easily. The Bluetooth shutter caused some odd glitches in my phone as well, like not being able to pull up the keyboard while it was connected.

This summer my brother and I needed a tripod for our online dance classes. I also needed a tripod to film dances. Furthermore, I use my iPhone as my camera for my laptop, so I needed a tripod for this use as well. This tripod has done well for all of this. It adjusts, twists, and turns to any height or angle we need it to. It can be compact for travel, but also long enough for us to stand and see the camera. It does take a little time to learn the various knobs and lengths, but it becomes second nature after longer amount of use.

This isn't heavy duty, but you don't get that for $19. It works well, only extends to 4 feet high (51 inches actually but it's still short). For occasional use or travel convenience, it'll be great. My only complaint is the small knob that you turn to attach the camera . It's a very small knob and nearly circular. A triangle or wings would have been preferable, or a larger knob. Other than that, you get what you're paying for... light and inexpensive.

I needed a tripod to work with my Iphone 11 to take video of my daughter's basketball games. Something that would work well in the bleachers at schools. Most reviews did not have anything about taking sports pictures. It isn't as sturdy as I was hoping for so got a 4 out of 5, but does what I need it to do as long as I hang on to it so it doesn't get knock over when stands are full of spectators.
