I can't tell you how happy I am with this purchase. I was trying to decide between this model and a Panasonic; I know the Panasonic brand but had never heard of this model. I decided to go with my choice and am so glad I did. I use this radio outside, and it comes in perfect! My two older radios are filled with static and do not program the stations in well outdoors. Not this little gem, the minute I turned it on my station of choice came roaring through with great volume and clarity. The radio is very small and weighs next to nothing, even with four size D batteries loaded. It is easy to tune, quite durable for its size and you can't beat the value for the cost. Give it a try if you are looking for a great, small but powerful radio for any occasion.

Good choice when weather is bad and need a battery operated radio. Stations clear and tuning easy.

Sound is good and the knobs are easy to adjust

Some battery displacement occurred at the beginning and I thought the radio was damaged, but as soon as I fixed it, everything was right. Also, in the mornings when I start the radio it doesn’t work well until I move the AM/FM dial left & right. Then it continues fine.

Station tuning is really amazing. No static and good quality sound. Seems durable and easy to understand knobs and controls. I would recommend
