Man, somebody's going to have to start reviewing the reviews! Used to be you could pretty much trust the reviews. I always read the 5-star and 1-star reviews. The 1-star reviews on this product pretty nearly had my deciding not to buy it. But, I thought what the heck, it's just $18 bucks and if it's terrible, I'll just return it.We just got it - and it's fine. Some people said it's "flimsy". Not sure what they meant or what they were expecting from a $18 plastic toy - but it was pretty well in line with what I was expecting.One reviewer said, "You can’t clean the screen unless you turn it off and then on again". This is where we need to have reviews of the reviews. Because this person just didn't understand how it works. It is in fact always "on". When you erase it, you click a button that instantly erases everything and turns the screen to black. Then when you're ready to write on it again, you don't have to turn it on - you just start writing. So, that 1-star review was totally irrelevant.It does leave little smudges if you touch it - so just don't touch it if you don't want a smudge! The smudge will get erased the next time you erase everything.Anyway, so far so good. I've not found that any of the complaints in the 1-star reviews really hold up. Maybe some people get a faulty version which may account for some of the 1-stars. But a lot of the complaints, now that I've had a chance to use it for a while - seem like they're from people who either didn't understand what it is or how it works - or from people who had an expectation of receiving $200 worth of quality for $18!

The tecboss 11 inch LCD writing tablet is phenomenal. Most writing tablets I’ve seen don’t have some of the key features and design that this tablet brings. What are the things I absolutely adore is the pressure sensing, it brings the essence of writing with a brush tip markers or a real stylus to the lightweight tablet design. Simple strokes are given more depth and look more natural, another thing I Really enjoyed was the lock. On other tablets I’ve used I see that the erase button is placed in an inconvenient area where my hand could slip up and accidentally erase what I’m working on, but with this tablet there’s a simple lock mechanism that makes it so you can switch it on and off and if you accidentally press the reset button nothing will erase. Not every product has its downside and with this tablet it was that there are small speckles on the tablet screen so when your race it’s not a completely clear slate or at least that was my experience. This is really good for taking notes if you’re in a office building or you’re just studying because it’s reusable you can always erase something once you’re done with it. So you’re taking notes about something you can simply take a picture once you’re done and erase the tablet and it’s ready to be reused. I really appreciate that this is Eco-friendly it’s not hurting our environment, The 11 inch tablet I had has a nice big screen enough room for you to fill up the page with paragraphs of whatever you want to write. The pen is conveniently placed in a socket on the lower back of the tablet. If you’re interested in buying this it is very good for business and traveling it’s so light weight it barely weighs a pound even less than that actually it is very lightweight and very convenient to just pull out and write things on. Overall I’d give it a four out of five just because my tablet came with these little speckles that didn’t clean the slate completely and properly but still it is a very good lightweight easy to carry tablet and have some of the best features I’ve seen for its design.

I love this tablet!!! It's lightweight so I pack it in my diaper bag to entertain my wee one when we're out, and she loves it too! Even at 19 months old, my daughter figured out how to draw and erase all by herself, and very quickly. My only complaints are, first, that I thought from the picture that it would be brighter. The ad makes it look like there's a backlight or something, but in reality, it's kind of dull/matte. The pictures people have posted are more accurate than the one in the ad. Second, it would be nice if there was a string or something attached to the stylus. There is a spot in the back where it snaps in but it isn't very strong and further, my toddler is the one using this for the most part, so we're constantly losing it. For the price though, this is a great option. It entertains my kid while encouraging creativity without any mess to clean up! Very happy with my purchase!!!

Shipping was fast and speedy. I ordered on Dec 4, and received it on the 6th. This would be a great gift for someone who loves to fast sketch, draw, doodle, or anyone who loves to be creative. I'd also recommend it for toddlers who love to doodle - under direct supervision of course.To clear the screen and sketch again there is a flip switch with a trash can displayed beside and the screen automatically refreshes to a clear palette. There is also a lock switch with a icon displayed beside to prevent your drawing from being erased, although it does not prevent if you accidentally add more markings to the screen.You can use the stylus to draw as I did in the pictures I attached. I also used the edge of my hand lotion bottle and the edge of the paper that packages the mini battery like a palette knife for the swirl and light shading on the shapes. Technically anything can be used to draw/sketch whatever you'd like.I do not know how long the battery life is but am glad it comes with an extra battery. There is a battery already loaded so the sketch pad was ready to use upon opening. Very giftable and recommend for those creatives at heart.
