Barbie Signature Ballet Wishes Doll, Approx. 12-in Wearing Tutu, Pointe Shoes and Tiara, for 6 Year Olds and Up

PHOTO IS OF OUTFIT NOT THE DOLLLikes:Beautiful intricate detail of a proper ballet tutu, rather than an attempt at one which is still a toy.Fine tights and ballet shoes authentically tied with ribbons make other Mattel ballet items look coarse and plasticky.Doll body fine, high grade of finish, beautifully sculpted, as well as curved foot arches. The whole thing in its presentation box is a thing of great beauty.Dislikes:Note: These are only because I acquired this item, more commonly used on boxed display, to steal the outfit for a Made-to-Move doll, who can execute many extreme ballet positions, unlike this doll, which is only articulated at the shoulders, hips and knees.The outfit is too small for Made to Move, had to redo the gusset to save the intricate straps, but now she looks great. Retying the ballet shoe ribbons, requires understanding of real ballet shoe ribbon tying. I nearly took a star off for Durability as some items are very delicate, but that is surely the appeal of this toy. Presented Durability is thus 5 stars.

A beautiful Barbie doll and is perfect for that little dancer in your life! I purchased this doll as part of a tea party theme for our young granddaughter. This year we celebrated our tea party as the “ Nutcracker Suite”. The Barbie doll has a beautiful coiffed hair style and facial features and her tutu is wonderfully crafted. My granddaughter was “ over the moon” thrilled to take it home with her! We’ve had our grandmother/granddaughter tea parties since she was three and she’s now in third grade. My mother gave me my first Barbie doll when I was in third grade and I remember it well. I’m 70 years old now and have always been interested to see that Mattel continues to make girls enthusiastic and happy with not only their dolls but accessories and themed packaging as well.This Ballerina Barbie will not disappoint!!

Bought for my 4yo daughter. She is infatuated with ballerinas and this exceeded any expectations I could’ve had. She’s stunning and elegant, and we love her dexterity. She has such pretty details...Just stunning! Another reviewer said her arm was stuck in an upward position, but ours doll’s arms are both able to move up and down with no issue. Also read her eyes were uneven. Again, not the case here. She’s perfect. We have a couple of loose hairs that have been pulled from her bun, but that’s to be expected when a 4 year old is flinging her around. Highly recommend!!!

Beautiful doll! Very beautifully made down to every little detail - tights, ballet slippers with ribbons, headpiece, dress, etc. it even has a stand for special display. Perfect for play and as a collectible!

A gift to my great granddaughter. She is taking Ballet dancing . She is a beautiful 4 year old. Just a proud Mamaw.

It was perfect for my 10 year old. Only down side. For a ballerina tutu she should of been made with undies.. Luckily my daughter likes to dress them up so she had all the items.

My daughter loved this so much she couldn’t leave it in the box. Good quality and design. The price is great for the quality of Barbie. There are ones in the store that cost more for a way cheaper design!

Could not give as gift as doll box was torn up rather badly. Since I am keeping it for myself it doesn’t matter to me. Outer box was perfect . Doll was in perfect condition. But as a collector it would be nice to have a box in good condition.
