Works very well, good lock switch features, nice pointy flame.
Great little lighter. Perfect for lightning candles, but I also use it for removing air bubbles from epoxy resin.It came in a beautiful presentation box with a set of instructions which are simple enough to follow.The actual lighter feels nice and heavy, gives you confidence that it’s good quality, though the external material is made of plastic.The ignition switch is easy to slide upwards which shoots a spark and releases gas to create a lovely blue pointy flame. The slider switch also has a lock function so you can lock it off for safety, but also lock it on so it’s permanently firing. There’s a little stand that folds out the back of the lighter which allows you to prop it up on a table which I’ve shown in my pictures.The bottom of the lighter has a dial which you turn to increase or decrease the size of the flame, you can get it really small and quite large which is very useful for a variety of things.It came without any gas installed, but my local newsagents had a bottle of refillable lighter gas which is the standard fitting for this lighter.Great little device, can’t fault it. Feels quality and does the job.

Great flame, easy to light, works every time
Really impressed - sturdy construction.Lights every time.Good intense flame.Fuel doesn't last too long - though I only use this to light candles.Great lock button for safety, lock button can also be used to lock it in the on position too.Easy to refuel.Would not use the built in stand, seems a bit weak, and worry about easily knocking it over.Flame adjustment a bit coarse - when on low it's harder to light, when on full it lights every time. No real in between.I just leave it on full for what I need.

For me , Not a good lighter
I bought this lighter quite a while ago. To begin with it worked very well but it lasted approximately two weeks, I filled it only twice, the 1st time on the day it arrived. Btw, I have a dozen jet lighters I know how to refill them correctly & I Do not use cheap lighter fuel.

A useful thing
I have for years struggled to light candles at my mothers grave. When I was recently on holiday and went to visit graves of relatives I noticed my sister to light the candles with a gas lighter. As soon as I came back I ordered one. I wish 8 had read the thing as when it arrived I could not get it to light u til I relished it had no gas. Luckily I had some which I use for my blow torch and now I can light a candle in seconds even if it is windy.

Looks good but won’t refill
Filled it with the gas Worked great for a week then tried to refill again but stopped working.

Difficult to control flame, stays burning after turning off. Disappointed with performance.

consistently good
great product - no click-click-click to get a flame - switch and boom - jet of heat to light anything. I had the pressure up too high to begin with and it shocked me - great reach for a BBQ but perhaps too much for a candle. Finding a comfortable level was easy and so to the refilling. Neat stand feature too for when its at rest.
