Good Performance PIR Detector
Very pleased with the performance of this PIR detector. I installed this detector in the front porch of my house to turn on an entry light at night. The unit was easy to install. Straightforward to adjust the sensitivity and on-time. Detector works well with LED lighting.

Ineffective & poor product
Replacement for a 20yr old similar version and have been very disappointed - range effectiveness is v poor. Now having to buy a better product , avoid this is my genuine advice.

There are no instructions or wiring diagram.
With no instructions and the internal wiring not connected you need to be a proficient electrician to fit this product. Very poor. Very small and certainly not weather proof. Setting up will also be difficult without instructions.

I will be returning this item which lasted ‘one night only’
It was easy to install and worked whilst doing walk tests etc. when darkness fell, it went into constant illuminated mode. Once switched off it never worked again. I have been t local Electrical Factr and purchased a replacement, which is working well.

Poor quality cable management
Infra red motion sensor makes no provision for efficient cable management. The whole in the back is not large enough to take a typical UK standard cable without the need to drill out the base. Additionally, unlike the sensor it replaces there is no standoff space to feed mains cable op behind wall plate - would work if cable came directly top back plate only. same issue with internal cabling.

Limited cable entry
Basically seems to work OK but beware if you need to use more than one cable entry. There is only one entry hole through a grommet and one cable grip. I needed it to control a pond pump so it was a good deal less than ideal.The grommet is not that secure and my experiencing is that insects, usually earwigs, will find there way past and cause faulty operation of the sensor.No earth terminal provision although there is space to add an extra terminal block
