overall fantastic
This product is true to size, I ordered up because the last pair I order of a different brand was not street shoe size and to small. This one was to large but I'll order the correct size now. Great quality pointe shoes, wide toe box (I have wide feet so it's great). Ribbons sewn in prefect placementOverall fantastic.

Fits perfectly matching street shoe size 8 l/2- 9 with size 9 wide
This was even better than expected. I held my breath because the box seemed small but when I unfoldedeach point shoe and tried on (they call it a size 41 ) it was perfect. I ordered the company size 9and have medium wide feet from Modern dance work. If you have 8 or 8 l/2 street shoe size consider thisso that when you add the toe protector it will even out if a little too big in length . For me it was so comfortable once I put on toe protector and could not feel any rubbing against them.It has a nicely shaped arch that I will not be breaking in at all. The box toe shape seems sturdy. Haven'tyet practiced at the barre but look forward to simple movement to get used to them. I did pointe work as a child and then many decades of ballet class and mostly Modern. The toe is only covered in satin so may need to figure out how to add protective cover . Ribbons are perfectlyin right place and they even included an extra set of ribbon and the toe covers which cushion anybunions or corns that may bother me... Dancers have an assortment of those issues after years of evenbarefoot work.Very impressed with quality and glad I chose a size 9 even though I wear an 8 l/2 or sometimes 9 streetshoe. Unusual to get a good fit sight unseen . This was nice and will try them out soon for other reviews..I have over 25 years of professional modern dance and at least 2O of ballet. Will be recommending to my students who are doing basic pointe work at the barre. Reasonable price and a lot for your money with the ribbons and toe pads.

Awesome Buy! Great price too!
I’ve been doing pointe at my own at home in spite of everything I’ve heard about how you should not do that. I’ve had these since Easter 2020 and they still fit great. Very sturdy, comfortable and pretty. They break in easily. The toe pads work great and I like the extra ribbons they included. Now I wouldn’t recommend if you’re starting Pointe in a actual Ballet class just cause the way they’re built. It’s probably worth it to get good ones even for their price. Great shoes for learning at home! Over all awesome!

EXACTLY what I was hoping for...
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Not what I was expecting. Better. Very sturdy and perfect for those just out of demi pointe and fresh in to En Pointe.WIDE toe...which is what I need, as, from a lifetime of dancing, my feet are a mess.I wear a size 6- 6 1/2 and got a 7 so I could wear extra padding in the toes. Worked PERFECTLY!Not sure what the big deal is about people not liking the ribbons already sewn in. I appreciated the saved time, as I'm not good at sewing in ribbons. Worked perfectly for me.Nice, hard toe, but enough give at the bend so you can work on going En Pointe without hurting your feet.I could NOT be happier! Highly recommended for BEGINNER (I can't stress that enough! Once you're much better, invest in fitted, expensive shoes!) En Pointe dancers to help with foot strength and perfecting Pointe.

Decent shoe for beginners
Overall a good beginner shoe which is what I was looking for. I had asked the company what size I should buy, I wear 7.5/8 in heels, flats sandals and an 8/8.5 in sneakers. They told me to get an 8.5 and it fits loose even with the toe guards, it would have fit perfectly in an 8. I'm trying to find a way to fix this so I can still use the shoe bc other than being too big I'm very pleased. Good response time on asking about size and super fast shipping.

Great shoes but read desc of this first before buy
This shoe was great for my foot, but a bit small. I took a size 10 and was still small. It has a weakish shank and a medium box. I would highly recommend going to a professional shoe fitter to get point shoes. Be safe and only dance on point if you have expirience. Not contemporary or hip hop, ACTUAL ballet. Please have more than 3 years of experience. Toe pads were also too small. Don't come with elastic and rubbon came sewed on too far forward. Dance safe and expensive is safer with dancing on pointe!
