Girls love these so much that we have a subscription! However, every shipment varies in size. We buy two at a time. I’ve read others' reviews. I agree that some of the products seem smaller than the descriptions. I did measure; I should have posted. The products varied by a few millimeters. I will update you with my next order.

Size discrepancy
Over the past 6 or so months I’ve noticed the venison shank chews just keep getting smaller and smaller while the price stays the same. It’s ridiculous. I understand it’s from an animal so there is going to be some size discrepancy but they are consistently getting smaller. This last batch was flat out tiny (larger one was from last order, and I thought THAT was on the small side). Spending $15 on a chew that lasts 5 minutes is crazy, so although my dogs love them they’re just not worth the cost anymore.

Splitters into shards. Nix this one but still love Ziwipeak brand
We really like this brand, Ziwipeak, and we were excited about this product for our two Irish Labradors and our Rat Terrier. We looked that this is health bone was made directly from real animal joints. All of our dogs LOVE chewy treats, but all three chewed this treat into long shards within an hour, so we had to remove them from our subscription. We will continue to buy Ziwipeak products. They are made with carefully sourced natural ingredients.

Boys love them - but
Our boys go nuts over these bones! I will give it 4 stars because there are 2 things I don’t love. The way the casing comes off is in very long strips so we have to watch the pups as it’s hard to chew since it doesn’t really dissolve. The second would be the way it breaks off in 2 inch chunks from the ends. Really a choking hazard so we take that part away.

Dogs love it.
They are only about 5 inches long for the thicker version but my dogs really loved it the first day It has a healthy casing the dogs freaked out over :) The second day only one dog keep chewing... They don't break down which is great but there is a joint that comes off about 1'' and 1/2 '' that you should keep an eye on to make sure they don't swallow whole...

VERY SMALL!
Don't get me wrong my dogs love these bones. But being that they are so small it's a 3 " maybe? Not worth the $12 price tag. I also have very big dogs and it took about 5 minutes to finish them. The texture and smell were fine no problem the appearance like I said really small. My dogs do not get diarrhea after chewing on these.They seem to be a good quality good ingredients the appearance is good for the three inches of it .I would definitely get it again if it was maybe half price.
