NOT drop-in for Wanhao i3 or Monoprice Maker Select
Can't really complain, but the holes in this unit are not correct for a Wanhao i3 or Monoprice Maker Select. The description says it fits all i3 variants, but apparently the Wanhao/Monoprice have their y-axis rods set closer together. If you have one of these printers, you'll need to drill your own holes in the aluminum. Should be able to use your current y-carriage as a template. Just use your bed-leveling screws and wingnuts to bolt your old carriage and this new one together, so you can drill through the same holes. The parts seems to be of great quality, and I imagine it will bring an end to my bed warping issue. Just was expecting it to be a drop-in replacement.

Resolved *all* of my bed leveling issues and works with the Wanhao Duplicator i3 / Maker Select 2 with modifications.
I do not own a Prusia i3, I own a Wanhao Duplicator i3 and mistakenly purchased this. I was *horrified* when I discovered that the mount points were very different and that nothing would line up. Luckily, the corner screws are in exactly the right place or I would have probably returned it.On the Maker Select 2, this part is *really* flimsy, so when leveling, it bent and flexed like crazy, resulting in low quality prints for anything that took more than a few hours since the bottom would eventually bend slightly and throw off the alignment. It got so bad that one screw was all the way down while one needed to be so loose that I needed a longer bolt. This carriage is *extremely* sturdy -- at least, if not more sturdy than the bed itself. With everything else properly leveled, I was able to level my bed to half the height of a piece of cheap copy paper at every point and the best part is that it's now stayed that way since I did the first leveling ... after at least 20 prints (I replaced the thumb screws with lock nuts and some of the 3D printed bed leveling thumb screw adapters -- this is likely required if you want those results). All four of my screws are at almost exactly the same setting now, as well, so it's clear that this part is not flexing at all (I could easily bend the other with just my fingers ... this one is hard to make bend any perceptible amount with my full strength). As it says in the title of my review - this kit works great with the Maker Select 2 if you follow these instructions:To modify to use with the Maker Select 2, remove the old Y-Carriage plate from your printer along with the bed screws and thumb nuts (or whatever you've already replaced them with). Screw the two together by the four corners, but flip the old one so that the side with the two mount points lines up with the side with the single mount point. Find a drill bit that fits and drill through the holes in the old Y-Carriage carefully into this plate. Disconnect and mount it just as the other one was mounted. You can now take out your aggression on the old Y-Carriage. Bend, throw (just avoid hitting people or anything valuable).

Awesome! Just what you need to replace the wood or acrylic platform to make it more sturdy!
Perfect addition to your prusa printer. This stiffens the build platform tremendously and reduces the risk of melting or ruining acrylic. I run this + sc8uu bearings (with pillow blocks) and MK3 Heatbed + Aluminum build plate. This is extra strong and super. Suggest insulating the build plate to retain the heat on the platform with that much aluminum. OR, get a 500W Silicone heater. I recommend using a Solid State Relay and using a 110V heater. You can do the same with a 12V or 24V. To reduce the heat generated on the mosfets of the controller, I suggest using a DC to DC Solid State Relay and using a separate PSU to heat the bed. That way you don't push the controller to its limits.

Works great on Wanhao i3 V2
If you have a Wanhao i3 and have a bed flex problem then this will fix it. You will have to drill the bed, the holes in it do not match up with the Wanhao i3 V2. It took me about 10 minutes to lay the original aluminum bed on top of this one (put four corner bolts in for alignment) and mark the holes. It does work, just keep rotating until you find the orientation where all holes need to be drilled. Works great, zero flex!!

and works great as a solution
Will not fit Wanhao i3 or Monoprice Maker Select out of the box. As others have mentioned, line up the beds, and drill your own holes if you plan on getting this. Its not difficult to do, doesnt take a lot of time, and works great as a solution, just too bad it didnt come with matching holes for the i3 printer i have, but i made it work

Bed Leveling is pretty much a non issue anymore
The absolute largest convenience improvement to my maker select wanhao i3v2 without exception. Bed Leveling is pretty much a non issue anymore. An absolutely MUST BUY of you have a maker select or wanhao i3v2 or similar.

Good product and greatly helped bed leveling and not having to level as often. I did have to drill my own holes for the Monoprice Maker Select, but I knew that going in. 4 Stars because I didn't receive the item pictured. The one I received has a cutout in the front. It works though.

Worked great and was perfect match for my acrylic Prusa i3 clone (based on the acrylic sunhokey models). This replaced the acrylic bed support that had warped due to the bed heat, and now my bed is perfectly level.
