Worked great!.. For 5 days.. Bottle never saw outside abuse, only sat on my desk through the day. Bottom of the bottle split and leaked about 3/4 gallon of water mixed with my BCAA's. Ruined alot of paper work and caused a massive, sticky mess to clean up. If you purchase, just keep on the floor to avoid the same frustration I experienced.Side note: it had never been ran through a dish washer.

Broke 1 and a half months after my son bought it. Apparently their “lifetime guarantee” only lasts and month. One week after he received it, there was a crack in the plastic. Somehow it was not leaking, so he kept using it. A few weeks later, the crack grew and split, creating a large hole in the plastic. The quality of this water bottle is poor, and I would not recommend purchasing this item. My son tried to return the water bottle the day it broke but found out it had been over a month and their lifetime guarantee no longer applied.

Would love to make this 5 stars. The only problem I have is the water leaks out of the top while carrying it. Leaves a mess everywhere I go. I am trying to find a way to seal the inside better. The bottle has a life time warranty so thats good. Hopefully this is something I can fix because the otherwise construction of the bottle is great.

I absolutely love it! The opening top is big enough to pour ice inside and it has a cool metal top. The black string is annoying cause it gets in the way of closing at times but its better to have it in case you ever lost the top on accident. I even dropped the gallon full of water, and I freaked out cause I thought it was going to break or rip but nope! Pretty sturdy! Highly recommended for anyone looking to live a healthy lifestyle of drinking a gallon of water every day.

Got tons of grief from my wife for spending $20 on a plastic bottle. Really hate to say it but she was right. It's a great concept, the handle is big enough the lid is a little quirky with the strap, but all in all it was cool. Right up until the second week when it fell off the kitchen counter EMPTY, and shattered. The whole top section broke away from the jug body. I was heart broken, because my wife gave me the "well Mr. $20 plastic jug man......" So, it didn't last, it fell empty and shattered like poor quality plastic. My Nalgene bottles bounce around on our truck back, backpacks and constantly get abuse and dont break. As nice as it was, it lasted less than 14 days.

I have purchased 3 of these gallon jugs! Perfect for those who are trying to drink a gallon or more a day! I fill it up in the morning and carry it around all day! This way I know I am drinking enough water and do not have to keep refilling smaller water bottles and try to keep track of how many I have drank. This is easy and convenient! The jug material feels high quality and has a nice look to it. however I noticed that on some of the water bottles the plastic parts that connect the cloth between the lid and the jug does not spin well when trying to unscrew and screw when taking the lid on and off this makes the cloth part get all twisted up. I thought I could break it in and it would spin better but my red jug is a lemon! Very frustrating! My black and purple jug are better though and do not have that problem as much. I keep one at my work and one at home to stay on track!

It leaks from the cap and I saw the reviews said it did but I bought it anyway. I need it at work and it sits on my desk so really it didn't make a difference to me. I used to be refilling a gallon Poland Spring bottle and that wasn't BPA Free so I was happy to make the upgrade. For the steep price though i wouldn't expect it to be faulty.I wish it had oz. marking on the side so I know how much more I have to drink (it's motivating) but other than that it's OK and not an eye sore.
