NASUM Glass hole saw is made of carbon steel, and it is also regarded as the Diamond Core Drill Bits, Diamond Hole Saws or Bonded Diamond Drill Bits. Package Included: 15pcs * Diamond Drill Bit Special Material The diamond drill bits are made of carbon steel, which is solidified by special enhanced electroplating. The nickel plated surface with a diamond dust coating can provide superior performance and cutting strength and extend the service life. Application: Diamond drill bits, or diamond core drill bits, diamond hole saw or bonded diamond drill bits. They are often referred to as glass drill or tile drill, they are used to drill glass, ceramic, porcelain, tile, ceramic tile, limestone, Slate, marble, granite, stone and glass fiber light. How to drill correctly: 1.Firstly, mark the point where you want to drill the hole; 2.Next, fix the drill at the angle of 45°to make a drilling trace at a high rotating speed, and add water during the drilling process; 3.Then drill vertically from the other side of the drilling trace at a slow speed to prevent breakthrough. How to keep the tool cool? 1.You can build a mini water dam around the hole with plumbers putty. 2.You can choose to spray water on the drill bit. 3.You can use running water to cool the drill bit. Note: ✦Can be used with a normal electric drill. ✦Start your hole diagonally, make a round trace and then hold drill straight. ✦Reduced drilling speeds, lower drilling pressure and increased use. ✦Water lubrication significantly extends the life of the drill bit. ✦Please keep the speed in 800-1000 per minute, always use lubrication (water), otherwise the diamond core drill will burn. ✦It may cause the burning smell, if your speed is too high or the preesure you are applying is too much.

Very high quality Diamond Drill Bit sets very competitive prices.
15 pcs Diamond Drill Bit sets for Glass,Tile,Ceramic,Marble, Porcelain Cutting, Hollow Core Drill Bits Cutter with Diamond Coating, Carbon Steel Includes the following diameters 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, 9mm, 10mm, 11mm, 12mm, 14mm, 16mm, 18mm, 20mm, 22mm, 25mm, 50mm.I found these to do their job well if you just follow the instructions and take your time.Use plenty of water, apply steady moderate pressure, allow the bit to do the work and you'll be rewarded with a nice clean cut.I've cut quite a few holes with the same bit without any significant wear.Of course they're not going to last forever at this price, but that's the point. If you're a professional tile fitter then obviously go elsewhere.I've used these to drill cable holes in glass for converting bottles etc to light fittings.I used a bettery operated hand drill and it was fine. Getting the little glass disc out of the bit can be tricky but just takes a little patience.

15 bits for £9, excellent
These products are for the DIY person, 15 bits for £9 shows they are not professional grade, as one 40mm professional tile hole saw would cost £15!!That aside i needed two 50mm holes and two 20mm holes and four 5mm holes drilled for a DIY bathroom tiling job. The success of the drill bits is low speed, low/steady pressure, cooling water every 10 seconds and do not rush to get finished. An average time to drill one 40mm wide hole may take 3-6mins through a 8mm tile. (if you want to use the bit again)How did my job go?-Two 50mm holes no problem, made a guide by cutting some plastic. (old number plate) took about 10 mins to cut both holes through 8mm porcelain tiles, drill bit is still in good order and will be able to be used again.-Same with the 20mm holes-drilled 4 holes using the 5mm, it was slow approx 5 mins per hole, however all going well till the 4th hole and decided to speed it up and the bit went dry, (this is where i done the damage) if i had taken it slower with more cooling water i may not have damaged it.Overall very pleased with the entire set and the savings.

Glass drill bits
Works much better than regular arrow shaped drill bits for glass. I grow a lot of orchids in glass jars and I need to drill drainage holes myself for each of them. At first I was using regular arrow shaped drill bits but it took ages to drill and my electricity bill doubled because of that. Since I tried this type of drilling I will never go back. Now it doesn’t take me 5 minutes to drill a single hole, I can do it in less than a minute. Doesn’t crack glass as often either

Good selection of drill bits
Very happy with these. A good selection for the money paid for them. So far, only used a couple of them to place holes for ceiling cables to come through - for ceiling lights and fans. Since only using them on a recently plastered ceiling, very little pressure was applied and the cut has remained clean and consistent. Overall, very happy with these.

Cuts easily
I bought these to make some garden toys in the garden out of wood. I have also used these to adapt some plastic items as well. They cut through the wood with ease and leave a lovely clean cut.The bits are easy to fix to the drill and I can change them very quickly also. They can be used many many times and very little wear is shown.

Great value and work brilliantly
Just used these drills to provide holes through the tiles on my narrowboat and they are amazing. Easy to hold in place and cut very neat holes. Lots of choice in sizes. Just start the hole using one edge, less chance of flying around.

very poor quality
I bought these to drill four holes in some porcelin tiles, it barely made a dent in the first hole before the diamond coating cracked off and it became useless. tried with the next size up and same thing happened. generally these bits dont last long but these really are a false economy.

Tricky but effective
The cutting action is fine, but without a centre pin to locate the cutter precisely, the cutters can be a bit tricky to use as they have a tendency to wander, especially the large sizes. I recommend using a bit of masking tape to get an initial "bite", a slow drill speed and a very steady hand.
