SIMPATCH Universal Adhesive Patch (25-Pack) – Waterproof Adhesive, CGM Patches – Multiple Color Options

I purchased the Simpatch in skin tone nude color to use with my freestyle libre sensor. The sensor came loose twice and fell off so I was looking for a solution to keep it secure. The Simpatch was the perfect solution to keep my sensor in place giving it a smooth durable cover for added protection. The Simpatch adhesive patch stayed on after showers and never got loose. The smooth cover made the sensor more secure and it no longer got caught on clothing. Also the skin tone made my sensor less noticeable when I had to wear a short sleeved shirt. The Simpatch adhesive patch is perfect for the freestyle libre sensor.

My very first libre sensor got ripped out of my arm when I took my bra off the third day I was wearing it. Immediately, I looked for something to help secure it on my arm. These patches are great. Easy to apply. I just put the whole patch over the sensor and have no issues utilizing the sensor.

First of all, take everything I say with a grain of salt. As a disclaimer, I am more active than the average diabetic. I work on a farm during the week and kayak, backpack, camp, ski, snowmobile, and so much more on the weekends. I am in constant range of motion almost 80-90% of the day everyday, and sweating almost the whole time too.This patch, simply put, is not perfect. The material is high quality like a nice fabric bandaid and gives acceptional stretch, unlike the vinyl “donut” stickers you get with your guardian sensors. However, they still seem too peel off after 3 days, although this is the same amount of time the Medtronic patches give me the simpatch does hold the sensor on better and I do notice less movement and the insertion site is less sensitive after I remove the sensor.I am allergic to most adhesives and the Medtronic patches will make my skin blister and dry out. The simpatch has a nice adhesive that my skin is less likely to react to, but occasionally it does happen. The simpatch is fairly water resistant but in no means waterproof. The edges do peel up after a good swim.Pictured below, I have a patch I had been wearing on my arm for 3 days. I did not go swimming during the time, and only showered twice while wearing it. The weather outside was about 98° and I worked outside all day one of the days and got fairly sweaty.Overall if I lived an average lifestyle and received the same results, this patch would have gotten a two star review, conversely if I didn’t move around as often this patch would work better and so I overall DO RECOMMEND every diabetic with a guardian sensor buy these patches

My insurance does not cover my Freestyle Libre Constant Glucose Monitoring system so I pay 100% out-of-pocket. After I put the sensor on the back of my arm for the first time, I kept accidentally knocking the sensor against things. At $42.00 a sensor I was afraid I was going to knock it off of my arm so I taped it up with surgical tape. I looked online for something better and less messy than the tape I used and found SIMPATCH. It works great and doesn't leave a sticky mess when it is time to change sensors. It also looks and feels much better. It holds the sensor so well it lasts the life of the sensor.

I have a Guardian 3 Sensor and I hated the Medtronic Tegaderms. I purchased these as an alternative and wasn’t disappointed. They are easy to apply one handed, don’t give you the black adhesive ring or leave the messy residue, and are discreet. They held strong of the entire length of my sensor and there was plenty of strong adhesive left when I removed it, it didn’t even peel up around the edges. I am very happy with the SIMPATCHs and will be a long time customer! Thank you!

This is the second time we have purchased these to cover my wifes' glucose sensor. The first batch was great, we did not have any problems. She trims them down a little because they are a little big. The second order has been terrible. After a day they start to peel off and some areas do not seem to stay on very well from first application. I really wish we had been more proactive in returning these before the windows for returns expired, but we order these ahead of time and at the point we starting using the new batch, it was already too late. We will be exploring other options as there is clearly some kind of manufacturing inconsistencies with this company.The picture was taken after one day.Update (10/20/2018): I reached out to simpatch about my issue and within 24 hours they gave me a full refund. And they sent me two Simpatch packages on top of that. The best part is that the new batch works great. My wife has used four of them so far and all of them have not had these problems. I have updated my review to five stars. I would give them four and a half due to the one bad batch, but the custom service response was phenomal. Therefore, I have updated to five stars.

I ordered a pack of these for my husband because he started wearing a CGM and I wanted to have some on hand in case he had any issues with the ten day CGM adhesive. He went through several rounds of ten day sensors with no issues, then one day was taking his shirt off and caught the sleeve on the edge of the sensor and pulled it out. I reminded him that we had the adhesive patches but he was still reluctant to try them. Yesterday, it happened again with a different shirt, same scenario. I told him he should really try the patch to help keep the sensor edge from catching and pulling out.I read through the instructions with him and helped him put the adhesive patch on over the new sensor last night. Right away, he said it felt really good, and more comfortable than he expected. This morning when he got up, he commented again on how much better it felt with the adhesive patch covering the sensor and protecting it from accidentally catching on his clothing. It has made such a big difference for him in less than 24 hours that I feel confident that he will continue to use the SIMPATCH.This is an awesome product!!

Like how these cover the whole sensor, but they do start to peel up quicker than some other types I’ve used. Usually have to replace after a week.

Perfect. They stick really well and I rarely need to change to a new one before the sensor ends. They are tricky to remove from a sensor at first, but once you get a method of removing it without pulling the sensor off then it’s not a problem.

Poor product, poor design and functionality. Bad refund policy

Bought these highly expensive covers for my freestyle Libre to protect while showering and in the gym only purchased because of the picture showing round bump in the middle but they are just flat adhesive patches very disappointed

I bought these patches to protect the FreeStyle Libre sensor patch. The simpatch does an excellent job. Easy to put on and good coverage. My only complaint is the cost. They cost over $2.00 each though much cheaper in the US. I have just put one on a few days ago so can say how long the will last. If they can last the life of the Libre sensor which is 14 days they will be worth it.

Geniale Teile. Ich habe eine Pflaster Allergy und vertrage selten irgendwelche Klebstoffe. Ich habe Null Reaktionen (kein Brennen, kein Jucken, etc.). Das Pflaster ist recht groß und rund gehalten. Dadurch passt sie prima in die Handfläche und man kann das Pflaster alleine aufkleben. Gott sei Dank ist die Abziehfolie mit Schlitzen. Erleichtert das abziehen. Ich nutze sie zum Schutz meiner Libre 2 Sensoren und hab bisher mit einer Folie gearbeitet. Die sieht aber sehr schnell schmuddelig aus und lässt sich nicht unfallfrei wieder vom Sensor pulen. Das klappt hier ganz gut mit etwas Fingerspitzengefühl.

Ich bin positiv überrascht, habe bisher immer relaitiv grosse Pflaster benutzt um meinen Free Style Libre zu schützen, die waren aber nicht besonders ansehnlich.Diese Pflaster haben zwar eine durchgehende Klebfläche, was wahrscheinlich den Sensor killen würde beim wechseln, aber ich schneide mir aus der Schutzfolie ein Stück raus um den Sensor vor der Klebefläche zu schützen.Vorteile- klein- hält min5 TageNachteile- relativ teuer

They are very expensive. I wear them for my Freestyle Libre unit and they don’t stay 100% on. Usually, by the time I have to swap my device (every 2 weeks), the patch has fallen off 1/3. I have started apply a sticky, spray, compound - before adding the patch, but now with a lot of success. For about $2 a unit, I feel that they should work better. The good news, although the patch starts to fall off, it does protect the unit. After a couple of months of using the patches, I have yet to lose a unit prematurely with a patch on (even just partially on).

The patch is very easy to apply. It will last about a week through daily showers. It will need to be replaced before the sensor does, and it can be a bit tricky to remove without disturbing the sensor. That would be my only complaint about the product. I feel like if there was a adhesive free area that could lay over the sensor, that would make replacing the patch easier to accomplish. Otherwise I am very happy with this product.

Using simpatch over my FreeStyle Libre and find it adds so much more protection from getting my sensor hooked on things. It has a super sticky backing which really stays in place after showering...would definitely recommend this product!!!

these cover your libre sensor but only last 1 week before they start to peal off and you need to put a new one on

Es ist "nur" ein einfaches Pflaster ohne Mullteil. Aber..... Ein Pflaster auf das mein Mann nicht allergisch reagiert. Es denkt den Sensor super ab und hält wirklich zwei Wochen. Duschen, umziehen und diverse Türrahmen bringen das Pflaster nicht aus der Ruhe. Es geht auch alle unmöglichen Bewegungen mit. Wir schneiden genau in die Mitte ein kleines Loch, damit der Sensor "Luft bekommt". 2€ für ein Pflaster hört sich im ersten Moment viel an..... Es ist es aber auch wert.

Simpatch is a little tricky to apply over my freestyle sensor but once on helps to keep sensor on for 14 days but I don't know long it will last while swimming for 1 hour 5 days a week will order more when needed 1 other thing about Simpatch is they are too expensive
