Great product. It deffinitely has later ing to use it. But once you figure it out. I have found that after I put By Vilain Sidekick Zero prestyler I put in a little bit of Gold Digger and than blow dry. Its perfect and you only have little more afterwards to make sure the stubborn parts of your hair have enough hold. Tulsa very versatile, but yes it is better on shorter hair. Anything over the 3 inch range you're going to want to definitely apply how I mentioned. With shorter hair you can apply after blow-dried relatively easy. Oh ans it really plumps your up. I have fine soft hair, but with this it looks and acts thicker. I absolutely love it.

Much tinier container than I expected but I’m sure it’ll last me forever. I’ve never used hair wax before, only pomade and creams so this is something different. I trust Emil and Rasmus all the way and have been an avid subscriber since 2013! I also bought some Bed Head Manipulator Wax to switch it up every now and then so here is a comparison between the size of the two 2 ounce containers.

I have brownish/blonde hair, and a lot of men's styling products leave it looking dark brown, but this gives me medium hold, while keep the blonde color visible. That's why I like it. It doesn't have an overly powerful smell (my cologne is for that), and leaves my hair still pliable after I use it.

I wanted to get this for a while now and finally decided to try it. The product works great but I wanted a cream and this felt like a thicker puddy. Again, great product that works just not what I wanted. I'd give it 4.5/5 stars. It didn't smell bad but just has a waxy smell, for something a couple bux more than a similar product it should smell better.

I am very invested in men's grooming in general and men's hair care specifically. I had seen reviews of this product and was interested in giving it a try. When it arrived, I was slightly surprised at the small package size but after reviewing the quantity listed on amazon, it made sense. The scent of this product is actually quite pleasant in my opinion. It produces a citrus odor with a subtle undertone of something smoother, vanilla perhaps. My issue with the product arose upon application. After warming a pea-sized amount vigorously between my hands, I started to distribute it through my hair. Even emulsified, this product was STICKY. It did not want to be spread through the hair and clung to my hands to the point that it tugged my hair painfully in order to actually get it applied. I have a full head of hair but the follicles are fine, so this product might be more suited for someone with shorter, thicker hair. It did hold very well once it was distributed throughout my hair, so that is a plus. If this product were easier to distribute and had a little more movement in its hold, this review would be four stars at least.

I have tried so many different hair products to try to find one that I truly love, at least 10 or so. This product is by far my favorite if I'm going for a textured finish look like I didn't try too hard. It offers a stronger hold than most matte finish products I've used. Make sure you use a small amount and only use more if you need it. Also, it helps to heat it up thoroughly by rubbing it in your hands before applying it so it goes on evenly. I will definitely be buying more!

I follow Silk Haar UK on Insta and Snap chat. They are great for giving styling advise and tips. They often plug this is product and make it look great. So I decided to give it a go. I must say that I am sold. I have now ordered Vilain Side Kick to accompany this. Previously for the last 3 or 4 years I was using Osmo Clay Wax. I have tried so many over the year - at the mo this Gold Digger is my number 1 and Osmo Clay Wax is number 2.!
