Make darn freaking sure you know what you're looking for before you buy a master link.
Let me start by calling this thing stupid. But to be fair I'm pretty ignorant in the bike parts world. I learned that the name of a thing even though it's the same in two places can actually be dimensionally different. I bought this looking for a master link for my bike, a particular one, and when it came down to D-Day and I went to press it in lo and behold it was too big by mere thousandths. I'm upset because this is the second link I had to buy, because I broke the first one which fit. After I bought the second one and tried to fit it I ended up scrapping the $60 chain and $30 pressing tool. brand new chain because I didn't know what I was doing. I went to Facebook and ask motorcycle guys if this link is the same as that link and they were all like yeah it's just title differently. Anyway, be absolutely freaking sure you know exactly what you're looking for. This link as far as I could tell was structurally without flaw. It was in good shape on arrival it came with the grease packets and such. Nothing wrong with it. I bought the wrong one because I didn't know the difference is. I still don't know what the difference is because I put my bike in the shop and had them fix it.

Genuine part with grease pack, x-rings, and link.
Genuine DID master link! I ordered this just in case my new chain didn't have it, or if I messed up the first one. I ended up not needing it this time around, but it's nice to have a spare in the toolbox. It is the same link kit that comes with chains, grease and all.

perfect fit
Item worked great and I was able to do what I needed on my bike. Its been almost half a year since purchase and the link is still holding up strong as ever. Great seller and I would definitely purchased more bike parts from them.
