Some of the valves didn't work at all. Needs patience to get the drip ratio right. Didn't fit all bottles, only mainly large lemonade (for example) bottles. The anti-tilt bracket wasn't strong enough to support the bottle. However, those that did work have done the job and kept some plants watered.

Clever idea but I find them very difficult to regulate.

Some parts of this seem like they will break quite easily & also colours are quite garish. Had to look online as pictures with it were a bit confusing (was frightened of being too forceful putting little tap bit in but you need to be a little bit with it). Not used over a longer period yet but seems to work with smaller bottles (not convinced about weight of a bigger bottle). Am sure there are other products out there that do a better job. Value for money wise, fairly reasonable as other products are quite expensive. So I would say if you have a few plants & are going away its worth trying it (and I would trial it before you go away)

I brought this for my parents as they were going away and i'm normally left with the job of watering their plants and miserably fail. Once this is set up right you only have to water once every 10 or so days (depending on how big a bottle you attach).The pack size is 12 (as you can see in my picture) and you get the actual sticks for the a plastic bottle to be connected to, a stabilising arm (to prevent large bottles toppling over) and regulating values. The instructions are very difficult to understand but with some common sense one can work out how to use the item.The instructions suggest to have the drip regulated to drip every 45 seconds but i'm not why, the best method i found is to use trial and error to see if the soil is the moistness you want it after leaving it a few days. Overall, its a little fiddly to set up but well worth it for the long run and value.

These are a cheap irrigation solution for houseplants or outdoor containers that need watering whilst you are away. I was away for nearly 3 weeks and my plants survived and looked quite well when I got back. That was because I used a bigger bottle size than recommended. The only downside is that if you use a bigger bottle such as 2 litres, the bottles need good support ( ie. against a wall) or they may come away from the spikes and your drip system fails.

I left it for a week in my plants but obviously was not able to calculate how quickly the bottle would run out of water.Its good for maybe 2 days.

An absolutely brilliant invention.This product utilises spare empty water bottles to keep your plants hydrated when you are away from home.You simply add a used water bottle to the opposite end of the spike and then invert the spike and place it in the soil of your plant.You can vary the rate of flow to the plant pot and it automatically waters your plants while you are away.It takes various sizes of bottles so you can water your plants for as long as you need by varying the size of the bottles.I would recommend this product wholeheartedly and will be great when I go away on holidays.
