Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma, Vol. 7 (7)

Volume 7 contains chapters 49-57. The side story "Erina's Summer Vacation", which was published alongside chapter 53 of the original Weekly Jump Magazine, is not included in the volume due to page constraints. It will, however, be included in a future volume. Overall, this is one of the best volumes so far, as it contains the beginning of one of the most hyped and thrilling arcs in the series. My only regret is that it doesn't contain color pages, as it did in the original publishing in the Magazine. Volume 8 will definitely be even greater than Volume 7. Highly anticipate it.

The recipes are fun the art is top tier the story unique, the characters are all epic ten out of ten

This has been a great manga series. It has great art and a gripping story. Even if you aren't a big foodie you can enjoy the great food as it's shown and described in the manga. The story turns to the beginning of a tournament arc which can be stereotypical but is also very exciting. This just gets your feet wet with the preliminaries before they start the main event. Gave this to my sister-in-law for Christmas...she loved it! She kept trying to sneak a quick peek of the book during our entire family gathering!

This volume was the most exciting in the series yet. With some of the characters the reader would love to predict the outcome of their performance; however Mr. Tsukuda ensures that the reader can't simply foretell the storyline, especially not from what one has read from the previous volumes or their own biases. I'm highly anticipating volume 8.

Enjoyed the fast and readily accessible material. Will use them again.

If you've loved everything about this series beforehand you'll definitely love what happens here in volume 7!!

If you like cooking and you like anime/manga, then you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't pick up this entire series. The manga has recipes right in it - you get a cook book and a manga for the price of just a manga.11/10
