Motion Setting
Bought this is 2012 and still working great today 1/21/18!! Puts out great light and motion sensor works well. We have had issues with guests turning the light switch off and that has messed with the motion setting so here’s how you fix that:MANUAL OVERRIDETo disable the motion sensor and keep the light continuously on for the night, flip the wall switch off for 3 seconds and then back on. To reset to Security mode, flip switch again off for 3 seconds and back on. If you leave the light on all night it will automatically turn off at dawn and reset to Security mode.

A floodlight to rule all others...
Recently purchased a new home and the floodlights included on the home were pretty terrible. They shot direct beams everywhere (not providing much "flood" light), and they were halogen which became hot and consumed quite a bit of power.I have been surfing Amazon in order to determine the bed LED floodlight's that I could find. The primary worry I had was how bright these would be.Once purchased and installed, I was quite amazed at the fact that they were much brighter than even the halogen's that were installed previously. The best part was that they provided a much more uniform light source in my backyard. One additional plus is that it's a bright white light (don't really like the yellowish floodlight's out there).Installation was relatively easy, with the exception of the mounting plate for one of them that came slightly bent (assume this was a shipping issue). It was easy for me to adjust and still install properly.

Work and Look Great
DECISIONI wanted to replace 2 halogen lights (each with 2 heads) which were 75w each and didn't last as long as I'd like which isn't convenient when the lights are pretty expensive. After reading a lot of reviews I decided on these Lithonia OFLR 9LC 120 MO BZ LED Outdoor Floodlights with 3 heads each. They had the features I wanted including motion sensing, dusk to dawn sensing, and LED. Only one of these replaced one of my halogen lights, and I installed the other to a location that didn't previously have a light. The other halogen was replaced by a carriage light because my wife wanted to have a standard light on our patio.USE AND FUNCTIONALITYI placed each at opposite sides of my long back yard and they cover the whole backside of my house. The 2 of these lights' wattage (11w x 6 heads) doesn't even add up to one of the halogen bulbs in my previous flood lights (75w x 4 heads), and they cover more than double the space. I love that there are 3 heads per light, and each light can be pointed in any desired direction, also with the motion sensor can be pointed in most any direction.I currently have them set at full sensitivity and 10 minutes ON TIME. I don't have the motion sensors pointed down that far and they still pick up my dogs when they are in the backyard which is the main reason I needed flood lights. Beyond my yard is a canyon and unless there is light the dogs tend to bark at anything, much less so when the lights are on.CONCLUSIONI would definitely recommend these for anyone who needs flood lights. The brightness is different from my halogens, but in a good way, they seem more daylight than just bright. Also as usual Amazon Prime got these to me in 2 days and in perfect condition.

We recently remodeled our home and in the process replaced all of our outdoor lighting and flood lights with these two and three head Lithonia LED Motion detection and dusk to dawn lights. They are a bit pricey but I feel worth the cost when you consider the typical halogen 100 and 200 watt bulb replacement once or twice a year.I was a bit sceptical about how bright an LED could be but was pleasantly surprised when I turned on the first one. These babies are very bright with an excellent daylight white color. Each head is about 10 watts. So the two head is a total of 20 watts and the three head is 30 watts. My total wattage will be reduced by magnatudes. It will take awhile for the lights to pay for themselves but not having to replace halogen bulbs is a big plus in and of itself.I installed 10 of these units with a total of 24 heads totaling 240 watts. They replaced 14 halogen and incandescent lights that totaled 1,400 watts.Easy to install. Some (round base) have a foam rubber weather seal others (rectangular base) need to have silicone caulk to weather seal.A truly wonderful product that is well worth the premium price.

Bright light, great motion sensor
I bought this light to light up our large back yard and still be electricity efficient. Also, we have raccoons eating and digging up the grass in our back yard and we are hoping this light will pick up their movement and scare them off. We have not had any issues since we installed the light a week ago, but time will tell.Anyway, this light is great for providing a nice, wide light in our back yard which is about 75 feet deep and 60 feet wide (large for norther california). It was easily to install and setup that I don't even need to keep the instructions as it is so self explanatory just looking at it.I will it had an always on feature so that if our dogs or someone is hanging out in the back yard at night, I could just leave it on. What we do as a workaround is set the sensitivity to max and leave on time for 10min, but always on would be nice as a temporary thing. It is also a nice white light.

Security lights
When looking I read many reviews that were all over the board I have purchased four of these lights and have them installed. Truthfully, I think they are overpriced but, I went ahead with the purchase because they fit my needs. I followed the instructions to the letter, especially the application of calking around the box where it attaches to the house. Other than price I have one complaint and thats the green ground screw that is attached to the light from the factory, the screw is a nightmare to get out, soft metal, you name it. I ended up drilling the screw out and replacing it. What made me mad about it was the price of the light, I would think that the company setting the price should have at least placed a decent ground screw in such a high dollar item.
