amiciSense Digital Energy Meter Single phase 6 in 1, 40V-300V AC 100A Power Meter with Multi-Colour Display (22kW)

Best Energy Meter I have come across in this price range. This is my Second purchase. Have been using since last 2 years. Very accurate readings and excellent performance. Excellent display quality. size is small enough to fit in your boards. It covers all the 6 parameters quite useful in power quality monitoring. Superb build quality. Multiple colors make is very easy to spot different readings effortlessly.

The display is bright, it can measure voltage, current, power, frequency and energy (in units of kWh) The first unit that I got was faulty. But I contacted company and got a prompt replacement. This one works perfectly. You can also reset the kWh reading by clicking the button for 5 seconds.

Have bought this device based on AmiciSmart RCCB which i bought previously from Amazon itself. Somewhat was not very sure does it really assists in verifying the power consumption but trust me I'm seriously got obsessed with this measuring device, many times in a day I am keep staring at device to check power saving lol. Infact I came to know few facts like Luminous 1700 zelio wifi inverter consumes 26 watt in idle situation 24/7. 55 inch TV with reducing backlit can save lot of power many facts got revealed. Following are the pros & cons. Pros: 1. You can see the power factor, amps, incoming voltage (but not voltage consuming), frequency hz, kWh i.e. units consumed, live watts that is consuming by current load. 2. Device can be powered by other circuit & measuring can be done for any other circuit. for example: in my case apartment we got 16 amp and 6 amp wires (DG line) i only want this device to measure DG line but should stop measuring if power goes down & dg turns on. so have connected on 16 amp non DG line as a power source and measuring 6 amp line for kWh tracking. 3. kWh i.e. units will be stored even though devices go offline. 4. Reset facility is available to reset the readings of kWh. 5. 1 years warranty and got experience with AmiciSmart they have replaced my RCCB when it was stopped worked. Cons: 1. You need circuit wire that you want to measure needs to go through CT coil i.e round one which requires a small setup. 2. It doesnt come with holder, you have to find a way to fix it on wall or switch board or holder 3. Cant say it as cons but it can only measure single phase one circuit wire :P Overall one should buy this if you are serious about saving energy or to find the electricity quality of your home.

Got this amiciSense digital energy meter recently and its been working really well. Shows voltage, current, power and all other readings clearly on the display. The screen is bright and easy to read. Installation was quite simple, just had to follow the small diagram given with it. The readings seem pretty accurate. Helps me keep track of how much power my equipments are using, so thats a big plus. Overall satisfied with this purchase.

Display size, functionality everything's great. Finally got to know how much power my pc was really drawing :). Got a custom cutboard for this from the local guy. Connection were pretty easy, have attached the circuit connections for anyone who needs help in this.

Its about 10days since I have bought and installed it. Its a PRC product Though encased in plastic cover, the build is sturdy and good. Accuracy is acceptable for domestic usees. I suffer from vision problems yet I found the color display is sufficiently large and clear and the defferent colors help in easily spotting the measurements. Installation may pose a problem incase of DIY endavour. I am using it to compare my submeter readings vis-a-vis my actual consumption in my rented accommodation so I needed a discreet installation such that my Landlord wouldn't feel offended by any accidental discovery that I was checking on him, so, I had to use a Dremel rotary saw to cut a puncture through 1mm steel so that I could fit it in the MCB DB. Not so easy for the average hobbyist. The photographs tell the tale. One has to be careful with the current sensing coil and I wish it had longer wires so that it can be conviniently placed. Overall, I feel its a value for money cliche considering its size and features.
