This is the second one I have purchased we live in a 3/2 split so it is very hard to get signal throughout the house. When I connected the previous one I bought I didn’t notice much of a difference other than my son could now connect his computer through it since it doesn’t have WiFi. This one however I have 4 bars of WiFi from my basement to my third floor. This one also connects to computers and came with the wire to do it. This is hands down so much better than the one I bought from the cable company and was cheaper.

I am not a techie but I hate when I know there is a solution to a tech problem I am having but I have to hire someone because I for some reason cant do it. I thought I would try and the instructions were clearly written in an easy to follow format. I was so tired of having a dead zone where I was nt getting wifi connectivity. I followed the directions and installed on the first try and it works. I actually didn't have to move my laptop from the back bedroom. ON THE FIRST TRY! It almost felt too easy, but it worked and all the parts were there. Very happy with the purchase.

I follow the instructions to use this router, and it is reasonably clear and easy. The problem is when the installation software requests a password, it does not make it clear that it should be 8 characters or more. And unfortunately the software allows you to register short passwords without any warning message. The problem is when you try to connect with the extended network, the devices do not allow you to even try to connect before you type 8 characters. Result: 1) I could not connect to the extended network; 2) since I could not see the device like before, I could also connect through IP to change the configuration and change the password; 3) the device does not have on the hardware anything to reset all configurations. For these reasons I decided to return the product.It may work well after you configure it correctly, so just make sure you enter a long password and you will probably be fine.I do recommend to the development team do add this rule of minimum characters to the passwords users enter.

This product sounds great when you read about it. "Signal Booster"! Once you receive it there are many different options to set it up all of which you need to be a computer expert to figure out. Once I did figure out the set up I needed, it would not complete the set up process and I found myself clicking buttons with nothing happening. Of course there is no contact information to get help either. I feel a bit duped.

If it is placed next to the wireless router it works 100%. When I moved it 50 ft away and placed it in a hallway with direct line of sight to the wireless router its performance dropped exponentially. When I moved it 75 ft. away, its performance was near zero. I live in a single family home on one level. It is 2250 sq. ft. and in the shape of an "L". There are numerous French doors with glass panes.

I was skeptical of the bold claims this product made of being able to transmit through brick walls. The location of my router and this wireless transmitter aren't ideal, but my options are very limited since I rent. My router's wireless signal was very weak and nothing I did seemed to help. This thing was cheap, and at worst, if it didn't work, I wasn't out much. However, it surprised me how well this thing actually worked and now get full signal throughout my entire house, EVEN through a brick wall!Setting this up wasn't extremely difficult and the instructions were fairly well printed. The options on the internal web page were a little confusing, but I was able to navigate. There is an option to upgrade the firmware, but I can't find where to even look for firmware for this.I've only had this for less than a week and so far I am very satisfied with its performance despite its somewhat confusing setup process.

This product has very good range. I have the router in the basement and have this on the second story and get great reception. I had huge increase in speed on my 2G network. One negative is that the increase in speed on my 5G network as not as big as the increase on the 2G. The directions are a little confusing. Fortunately, I have a friend who is good with this and had it up and running in no time.

We had a dead spot in our house, of all places the home office. Installed this and now we have no issues with consistent connectivity.
