Item arrived a day before planned…quick shipping. 4 cartons, loaded on pallet, needs to be drop shipped. 2 large boxes containing the head and foot sections separately. They are heavy as the frame is steel and two motors are contained in the foot section, and a single motor at the head end. The cart containing the two headboards was a bit messed up on the corner of the carton, causing some scratches on the legs, no big deal. The surfaces of the head and foot boards is a vinyl type plastic somewhat scuffed. Assembly instructions need a good reading through entirely before assembly. It is fairly straight forward, but two people will be needed for assembly as the sections are heavy, but with a bit of good old elbow grease, is manageable. No mattress was supplied, but we were proactive in purchasing a good 6 inches thick foam mattress ($500) on Amazon, thanks to the responses from folks on this site. The mattresses that were supplied to others have been basically rated as garbage, so definitely get a good one. Price wise and the quality of the build seem to be of good quality and time will tell regarding durability. Hope this helps, think it is good value for what you get. My 89 year old Father In Law seems to be happy…he is the recipient.

I strongly suggest that you watch the MEDLINE Fully Electric hospital bed assembly before you do anything. It will show you things that are not in the manual and in a way that only one man can do the job, I did it all by myself in 45 minutes and I am 75 years old. a much younger man can do it in half the time. All materials are First rate, painted steel, and the assembly point are very strong and easy to come together I can't say enough good things about this bed for my wife, she is very comfortable in it and though her motor function is hampered by her Parkinson's she gets in and out with no problem. Well worth the cost.

Original bed arrived within a few days of being ordered. Took a few hours to assemble. Has been working really well. Ordered half rails for electric bed. Recently the care facility requested full rails after mom suffered minor fall. Didn’t see full rails listed on Amazon just the full bed assembly so sent seller message at 5pm on Friday. They responded Sat that they were researching. They sent message Sun that someone would f/u with me Monday. First thing Monday got a call to place order for full rails. Order shipped by end of day and is expected by Wed. Can’t recall last time I had such great supplier support and follow up. So glad the rails are compatible with bed and the price was ver reasonable as well.

The assembly instructions provided by the manufacturer are absolute garbage. The instructional assembly video provided by the manufacturer is worse than the paper instructions. Instructions are incomplete, missing numerous steps, inaccurate, and poorly explained. After about 90 minutes of aggravation we managed to assemble the bed. The bed itself if wonderful.

At present I’m not strong enough to get my feet into bed by myself, so having the bed go lower would be a great help. Suggestion—luminous or bright paint on the remote control arrows would be a great help in the dark.

No mattress and no side rail. As shows both. Have contacted seller.These people are fantastic! Missing pieces here. Videos provided to fix problems.The bed is solid and comfortable. Side rails retract for when you don’t need them. I highly recommend.

Purchased this bed for 91-year-old grandmother. Fairly easy to put together with two people. Grandma says is comfortable. Loves the fact she can lower to get in and out as well as easily raise her head to watch TV.

I ordered it for my dad on a Monday. It was delivered the following Friday. I thought it would take a long time to get here because of Covid-19...nope, it got here quickly.It arrived on a pallet, and the delivery fellow offered to help me unpack it. 100% excellence in terms of delivery experience.The bed arrives in 4 main boxes and a few other parts.ALL THE PARTS are heavy. No tools were needed for putting it together. Good engineering went into it, that is for certain.Fitting the motor was a chore because the instructions weren't clear. i figured it out just bu looking at it.I got the full electric one with full rails.I got it assembled and I didn't know that it also RAISES the bed. It goes up quite high. I was so happy with this I actually cried.It does the back part and knees raising, but moving it up makes life so much easier...and it goes high.Also, the bed is solid all the way around. It is not at all junky or disappointing. in any way.I will give this bed a perfect score in every way. It would be a steal at twice the price. At only $800 it is truly amazing.
