Awesome water bottle carrier for the money!
This is a flat-out awesome pack for the price! I'm a huge fan of this format for a pack/pouch. When I hike (or really do anything outdoors) I always like to keep a Nalgene full of water with me. If I have a water bottle it's nice to have a carrier for it, especially with a shoulder strap. And if I'm already toting this then why not assemble a small bush-bumming/survival kit around it?The Orca has a lot going for it vs some of the competition. Construction wise it's pretty solid all around. It seems to be very well stitched, no loose threads or wonky, meandering rows of stitching. And all the zippers are YKK! That's pretty sweet for a bag that sells for $18 shipped. It's hard to imagine ever having the zipper fail in normal use. Beyond that the design is perhaps unique on the market; in addition to a zippered top lid over the water bottle there's a totally separate zippered round compartment on the bottom. This bottom subsection will perfectly fit a 10.2 oz Sistema round container. So you can carry tea, coffee, creamers, sugar packs, bouillon cubes, etc or even a small alcohol stove. This would be a perfect cook kit/cuppa bag.On the top of the bag there's a very nice carry handle, very nicely padded. It's reminiscent of the grab-handle on the top rear of an armor plate carrier. It's probably more than you need but it's a nice touch. There's also a small covered slot to use a hydration hose if you want. It comes with a neat H2O patch that's rubberized and there's a fair amount of loop-field for attaching moral patches. Nice. One last feature this pouch has that I've not seen elsewhere is the strap system on the back. Most of these types of pouches have a pair of long straps with snaps made to weave through PALS webbing, but this one has four shorter straps. In theory this could allow more options to attach it to a pack, and if you don't use it I can't imagine it really getting in the way. Lastly, it's also really great that they include a pretty nice padded carry strap with it. If you buy a Maxpedition bottle bag it's $40 and you have to buy the shoulder strap separately!I will also note that the bag is covered with PALS webbing on all sides, and that webbing seems evenly and correctly spaced. I had no trouble adding a pair of small pouches to the sides to carry a bit more kit.Overall I'd rate this as a nice bag than the Condor. It's a bit less expensive than the Pathfinder bottle bag and adds a few nice features than the other lacks. The Maxpedition carrier is definitely a bit nicer but of course it's twice the price. This pack isn't perfect. There's a drain hole in the very bottom with a grommet which looks nice, until you realize that it's not connected to the bottle pocket! That section that holds the actual bottle doesn't have a drain at all. I would also like to see the bag made just slightly larger around and a couple inches taller. Most folks that carry a Nalgene will probably want a nesting cup like the GCI; this will fit in the Ocra pouch but it's a little snug. Also, while a standard 1 L Nalgene will it just fine the 1.5 L Nalgene Silo won't fit, you can't get the lid closed. I suppose that's not a big issue for most people, and I'll grant that if it was 2" taller to accommodate the larger bottle and still had the bottom compartment it would make the bag a bit less compact. I should also note that the front pouch on the bag is smaller than the front pouch on a Maxpedition or Pathfinder bag. That's a tiny bit disappointing to me. I generally carry a Lifestraw in the front pocket of a bottle bag but the pouch of the Orca is too short to accommodate a Lifestraw (although a Sawyer Mini will fit just fine). If the folks at Orca tweaked those few things- ie making the bag a bit taller, a tad roomier and with a taller front pouch- then this would probably replace my Maxpedition and Pathfinder bags.As it is though it's a great little pouch and a bargain at the current price. Recommended!

This is an excellent pouch!
At 11 inches by 4.5 inches overall, it isn't quite as big as the Maxpedition (12x5) but at less than half the price, it is a great alternative if you need extra space over the majority of 4 inch diameter pouches. That extra half inch makes a real different if you want to carry the Stanley Camp 24oz. Cook Set . Other bags are tight but this one fits perfectly without snagging on the cook pot handle. There's still a little room to wrap a cleaning cloth or stuff a few other items in beside the cook set. There is another 4 inches of room on top of the Stanley pot for whatever other items you would like.Of course, you could always use this as a hydration pouch, but that's boring, isn't it? There is a straw/tube hole on the top for that purpose, and all the stitching seems strong. I don't see any loose threads or other defects. MOLLE straps and snaps work as expected. The main compartment is only 10 inches tall so take that into consideration if you are trying to fit an extra tall bottle. Orca includes a small compartment on the bottom that's about 1.5 inches tall that will fit 8 oz tins such as 8 oz Metal Steel Tin Flat Container with Tight Sealed Twist Screwtop Cover (6 pack) or similar. This is one of those design features that makes it stand out from other H2O pouches and while I don't mind, I'm not sure if the space would have been better used by adding another inch or two to the main compartment to hold either more stuff or taller water bottles. The separate compartment may be perfect for someone and I'll definitely use it so it isn't a flaw or a problem.Orca used YKK zippers for those that care. I have other bags with zippers from different manufacturers and I'm not convinced there's a big difference but I read a lot of reviews that rave about YKK so there's that. The zippers do have the same color as the bag instead of the bright shiny metal and don't stand out so that's a plus. The shoulder strap is effective and has a nice pad that is adjustable. The pad is thin compared to typical laptop shoulder straps but you aren't supposed to carry pounds of equipment in the Orca pouch so this pad is just fine. The clips and D-rings aren't quite as thick as others, but are more than enough to hold the bag and several pounds of stuff, if necessary. The strap clips are the worst thing I can find about this bag, which isn't all that bad, really. So, if you need a little extra space compared to 4 inch diameter pouches then you won't be sorry with this bag.

Perfect carrying case for DJI Mavic Pro including spare battery!
I bought this water bottle holder to hold a DJI Mavic Pro and it works perfectly. As you can see from the picture, it holds the Mavic with extra room above for a spare battery. It MIGHT be able to hold a second spare battery but I don't have another to try that out at the moment but looking at it I'm 99% sure 2 spares will fit with a 3rd installed in the Mavic. The controller fits perfectly in the other zippered outside pocket along with a few extra props and room for a cables if needed.

Nice materials, poor quality control; not ideal for water bottles
Generally a nice pouch made of good materials. Not as ideal for water bottles as I thought: the bottom pouch prevents the main compartment from properly draining (water does tend to reach the bottom of pouches when I use them), and the bottom pouch just adds more bulk I do not need.I was pleased to see it was made from a proper 600D and YKK zippers. But the hardware on the end of the shoulder strap is the cheap (stamped metal and wire) kind that will fail after enough use (in my experience). The quality control issues can be seen in the stitching in a couple places: the zipper on the bottom compartment binds up because it was improperly stitched in; and the silly H2O patch, which is unnecessary anyway, but a more obvious telltale of QC issues.I gave this one a try, but I will stick with the other big brands. The bottom compartment is really not a good idea if you are carrying water bottles. I would have kept this and found another use if it were not for the QC issues.

Awesome water bottle pouch.
Well what to say about this.... AWESOME. Fits my Nathan 50oz bottle with no issues and even a bit of room left if I decide to put a nesting cup/pot in with it. The construction is solid, you know you have something in your hands when you pick it up. The insulation keeps my water cold enough for as long as it takes me to drink 50oz so I can't argue in the least. Have not tried hot yet but now the cold weather is setting in this will be the next challenge for it. The pouch on teh front is just that, a pouch. Nothing fancy. It is insulated as well. Could hold several small items for drinking water purification, or maybe drink mixes etc. As for price for what I got.... I hate to say it but I feel almost like I ripped them off. Amazing piece of gear for the price. Beats the heck out of the big name stuff for the same gear. If I can find more of the gear I need by these guys I will be buying it.

Strong molle water bottle holder. Fits my 750ml titanium pot with 1L nalgene nested inside with room to spare!
This is a very nice piece of kit for the price! It uses a double molle strap configuration (2x 2 straps) to hold securely to your bag. It's currently holding my 750ml toaks titanium pot (w/bail) and lid plus my 1 liter Nalgene nested inside - and there's almost 2" spare room at the top still. Material and zippers seem very secure. It even has a pass-through for a standard bladder tube. The OD green doesn't match up perfectly with my pack, but it's close enough not to look fine and bother me at all.It didn't qualify for Amazon Prime so I had to wait a few extra days for it, but it arrived reasonably quickly and at a price point (under $20 when I purchased) that was very competitive, especially for the quality of the product.Overall, very pleased.

Excellent quality.
Unfortunately I no longer need this so it's being returned, but I can say that the quality & value is very high, and I will definitely be purchasing some other items from Orca.UPDATE:I actually decided to keep this and use it as a mini bushcraft kit for when I don't have my whole kit with me. I just leave it in my car and have these contents in it: 40oz Klean Kanteen bottle, GSI glacier 20oz cup, 25ft of 550 paracord, fire steel, and bushcraft knife. Works perfectly. Also works nicely for short hikes when I don't want to bring my backpack with me.

Versatile Pouch
Well built and durable, inside fits my Stanley adventure kit and Walmart GUI cup nested together with room for my trangia burner, spare fuel and fire kit on top. The front pocket fits my lixada folding wood burning stove and other miscellaneous items. Doesn't come with a shoulder strap but has the D rings to easily add one. Sturdy molle webbing and the more versatile four shorter snap straps on the back make this more versatile than others I've seen, it's a great pouch.

stick your water anywhere on your molle bags - it will stay put
Holds a large / heavy water bottle with no problems. Took it on a long forest hike with my dog, threw it around / ran with it on my bag / etc.... it was solid and didn't give way. Does the job!
