Great But for the money
This came to home pretty quick considering being a Prime member and has never received overnight same day same week at that for any item Item arrive with in same week Was simple to install easier to use and very durable for lots of use And it installs at regular key/ lock night

I love the white lock on the white gate
Locking from one side is fine. I had purchased the lock that locked from both sides but it wasn't necessary and this one was less expensive.

Disappointed
Not the sellers fault at all but please read before purchase. It clearly states of you lock from inside you cannot unlock from outside. Also the item has a long thin rod use for lock and unlocking which seems very flimsy and easy for someone to break.

These are made of a very tuff plastic material. Works great
Because of the material they can't rust! Wish I new about there earlier in my life. All in all looks great and very solid!

DO NOT !!! waste your money
What a disappointing latch from a supposedly good company!The latch was fairly easy to install , about 20-30 minute in total. I live in downstate NY and I put it on my metal gate last week when the temp was high 40's to max 50 degrees.The latch worked fine in warm temps. Well, the past three days we got the frigid weather along with many, many others and the latch just stopped working. The latch just hangs up and when the striker hits the latch it DOES NOT FALL DOWN and close on the strikerI did not purchase this latch for warm weather only, I did not apply a liquid lube, I tried a little bit of graphite power and the "high quality" stainless steel parts DO NOT move freely, and release on the striker.GEE, $55 down the drain and now I have 8 drill hole in my metal fence !!!!!1

Locking mechanism is not synchronized.
Practice on a stud to orient yourself to the directions of the unit in order to set it. I don't remember seeing where the directions state that if you lock it on one side you cannot unlock it from the other side.I have to find a lock that is consistent regarding both sides.

The product is good, Ilke it. I just wish the rod would have gone through the post rather than around it and exposed.
