unstable under 3.4v input
works great above 3.4v input, so ill keep it for a different project. currently trying to make a laptop battery using this to step up four, 3.7v lithium batteries in parallel to 12v. however, once the batteries get low (3.2v-ish) the 12v out turns into 40v! pretty sure that would fry my project. again though, above that voltage works great!

Average DC -DC boost buck.
I have tried this module for charging and for regulating a load and my conclusion is as follow: do not use it for charging, it does not have any current regulation and if the battery requires too much power, the module will reboot in loop with no power applied to the battery. Now during my use with a normal load (around 150 mA), I witnessed that the module performed quite well but was struggling to provide a constant voltage as the battery was depleting and at some point it even disconnected the load randomly. I would not rely on this for long term circuits.

It only steps up doesn’t step down like the product describes and started smoking
