Disney Adult Classic Metal Bracelet Analog Quartz Watch

Mom said she wanted a Disney watch for her 83rd birthday. Said she had a mickey mouse watch as a little kid. So I gave her my phone and had her pick this out .... she was in awe at how easy it was to order, my siblings said she just talked about this present for months.... it was her last birthday.... and to know I made it a wonderful one fills me with joy to know I gave her something that meant so much It was a beautiful watch, a good quality.

I almost didn't buy the watch because I read several negative reviews. I decided to take a chance and get it. What is great about Amazon is if I was not happy I could return it. I am glad I got it. It's a perfect size, not too big, not too small. I had to have a jeweler adjust it down but I have had to do that with every watch that has a clasp and not a buckle. It is lightweight and not bulky at all. The watch looks really nice. Honestly, it looks almost as good as my $150.00 watch. I just wanted a watch that looked good and if I dinged it up at work, I wouldn't be out of pocket too much money.

My 66-year-old eyes have to read the calendar by taking my glasses off. With good lighting, everything else on the watch is very easy for me read. I love the bracelet design because I always want to push my watch away from my wrist. The stainless steel back means I never have to worry about my skin reacting to some base metal and turning my wrist green. It’s a better watch than the one I was trying to replace from 20 years ago. The crystal is scratch resistant; my old one was all scratched up.I LOVE IT!

I debated between a three star or four star rating. I really like the watch, but the watch band has some trouble. There is a small rod that is supposed to hold the band together, but keeps slipping out. This rod is very tiny and would easily be lost if you did not see it slip out; that would make it impossible to wear the watch until a replacement rod is installed. It happened when I first opened the package, so I sent the watch back, thinking it was a defective watchband. The next watch had the same thing happen, so I am presuming that this is a common problem. I decided to keep the watch and take it to my local jeweler to remove some of the extra links and repair the rod problem. He said that it was not a very good watchband, but he could repair the loose rod and remove the extra links, which cost me $18, close to half the original cost of the watch. Now that the watchband is the right size and I don't have to worry about it coming apart I like the watch. There were no instructions included with the watch, so I had to guess the way to set the date on the calendar, you pull the stem half way out and turn it to the right number, if you pull the stem all the way out, you would be setting the clock time.

I had a seiko like this before, and I love how it looks. But after a few times wearing it, the dial completely came out with the glass cover attached to it. Very disappointed with this that I got as a gift from my husband. He is beyond disappointed. So sorry... it's cheaply made

Watch arrived quickly in running order. This is the traditional "Mickey with moving hands" watch--similar to one I had 25 years ago. It has a sweep second hand and a small inset square with day of month (a little too small for my eyes but for others it is readable). The band is adjustable by moving the pin on the clasp--when it arrives it is set at the largest size. Am pleased with the order and the watch so far but I have only worn it a week. It is not a fancy fashion statement but a fun accessory for me. :)UPDATE: After one week of wear a pin holding the clasp to the band (not the pins attaching the band to the watch) broke and had to be taken to a jeweler for repair. The watch was not in rigorous use; just a fairly cheap band. I guess you get what you pay for.

For the price this watch looks excellent, nothing cheap looking about it at all in our estimation. The contrasting gold/silver colours make it stand out attractively without being over done. In our case the watch band fit my lady's wrist perfectly so no adjustment was required. The date is small and a little hard to see, as is the case on any ladies watch of this size. It is easy to set time and date although no instructions were included. Date is set by pulling the stem out the first notch and turning it backwards (counter clockwise). Time set in a similar fashion to any watch. Another Amazon purchase we are completely happy with. (¯`·._.·ns¢ävË·._.·'¯)®
