The case is really different then any I have used before. When I first opened I thought I had ordered the wrong one. The phone sits suspended in the middle by rubber tabs around the case edges. I had to open the case after the first install because the power button didn't work. So be sure to test the buttons before putting the back piece on. The phone has to be pushed all the way down onto the face and the button tabs have to align with the phone buttons. The back piece gets pushed in almost like a zip lock. Begin in one corner and press all the way around.Everything worked perfectly the second time around. The case does make the phone bigger. It also adds a little weight, but not much. It went from an S8 to a note 9 size wise. My husband really likes the feel of the phone now with the case installed. The screen and back protector feel plasticy so we'll see how it holds up against scratching.

I have had this case on my phone since May 2019. It is very durable and my phone is well protected! After more than two years there are some scratches on the plastic screen covering, so I thought about getting a new case. After looking around on Amazon, I think I will only buy this case. Yes, it makes the phone bulkier. That is the price you pay to keep your phone in one piece if it gets dropped, right? In the past I have had phone cases with no cover over the front glass and the did fine, but now I have a four-year-old daughter and I am keeping the extra protection. This case fits well, the touch screen is as responsive as it would be without the plastic cover. The fingerprint reader works well too. My calls are not muffled. It's funny, I recently had to switch my sim card when my cellular provider was bought out, and I had some issues with muffled calls — I was yelling into my phone and they couldn't hear me. I thought maybe it was the case, but I did some phone maintenance and calls are clear again, even with the case on. I have no idea how I fixed my issue, but I did. Haha. So it wasn't this case causing an issue. I read a review that said this case is hard to remove. The case has a notch in a lower corner where you can use an edge to pry and open the case to remove your phone. Of course it's not going to be easy, this thing is water resistant! Anyway, if you are hesitating, go with this one. It's really good. If I get a new case, I might get a gray one instead of black. More colors would be nice!

So this is my second purchase of this case because I like how comfortable it is in the hand and how well it works by being waterproof and letting you be able to use your fingerprint scanner to unlock your phone. They completely cover the phone in all areas to make sure no water can get in, but I do have a few gripes about the durability of the product. Now the main body of the case remained intact on my first purchase, but what was breaking was the buttons on the sides, mainly the Power Button, Charger Port and Headphone Jack. The Charger Port is also just one of the hardest things to open especially if you can't get a good grip with your lack of nails (me), or if you have longer nails. After opening the Headphone Jack and Charger Port a lot, it starts to degrade and eventually break off, same with the Power Button after extended use. The material on the Fingerprint Scanner also broke apart after extended use.Overall, I still like the case because the main part of this case's job is to protect your phone, and it has, its main body really does its job on reducing the damage of dropping your phone or getting water on the screen. If the durability of the openings on the bottom of the phone and the Power Button were to be stronger, then this would be a perfect phone case for those who like an affordable and good case.

I am updating my review from a 3 to a 5*. After having it for several weeks, I have decided that I like it a lot.What I most like is that it is rugged and thin. It has clear plastic over the front and back that seem to be strong and very clear. Plus the case claims to be waterproof though I have no intention of testing this. At least not on purpose.There are some issues.1; The buttons are hard to push. They take a lot of force. In some ways this is good. Previously, I would often inadvertently turn the ringer down by accidentally touching these buttons. I was missing calls. Not likely with this case. Actually, this may be a feature. I have not once accidentally turned off my ringer as I did before I had the case.2. When I put the phone in its case on the wireless charger, the phone apparently thinks I am holding it. It turns the display on as if I had picked it up. After a few seconds, the display goes off again. Then after a few more seconds it goes on again. And so on. All night. I keep it next to my bed. Very annoying but there is a workaround. I put a piece of cardboard over it. Problem solved.3. For a while, it was difficult to "swipe down" from the top of the screen as required to get to settings, etc. I have now learned to hold two fingers at the top of the screen for a couple of seconds and then swipe down. This usually works.But I have decided that I like this case a lot. It looks like it will protect the phone well and it is waterproof.

Good case. Easy to assemble. Not sure how waterproof the case is haven't had to test it. The charging port is difficult to get to because there is not much to grab hold of when removing the plug.

Completely waterproof and protects your phone from drops even into the snow! It's the best case for the Samsung I've ever had and I have always had a Samsung phone. Great price point and absolutely saves your phone from getting scratched, broken or water damaged. I love that it comes in pink now too! Can't say enough good things about this case. Definitely worth the money and a must have to protect your phone. When you take you phone out even after a year the phone is in perfect condition. Thank you Lanhiem 😊

I recieved the pink version of this phone case for my S8 today. I cant rate it high enough. It works with the wireless charger (also bought here....awesome fast charging too and pink😀) and unlike many other covers the touch is so responsive. Its bulky but that's for protection and tbh I love it. I also like that it's easy to pull the side quick call panel across. With other covers that was impossible and very annoying. Also it comes with a little wrist rope loop should you have a 2 year old that knocks the phone out of your hand 🙈😀👍 ideal product and super fast delivery to R.Ireland (just 3/4 days). Im very impressed.

Its a little too big, and the charging port hole is too small. It pretty much does what it says on the box. Life proof case is better but costs 3 times as much.

Update: 2 years later this case is still going strong so I changed my rating to 5 stars. I dropped my phone multiple times and it's fine. The buttons still work fine, whereas on my Lifeproof cases the buttons always wore out after a year. The only thing I don't like is that it's quite heavy and bulky but it works so well that I don't mind that much anymore.Update: a year later, this case is still going strong so I added a star. It's heavier and more bulky than my old Lifeproof case but I got used to it. The buttons are now easier to press than in the beginning, and they aren't falling apart like the Lifeproof buttons which wore out for me after a year, several times. Overall, I would now recommend this case.I bought this case to replace my Lifeproof case. I've been using Lifeproof cases for years and wanted a replacement when the power button and volume button wore out, but Lifeproof discontinued the model for my current phone. So I bought this Lanhiem case because of the good reviews. It's much more bulky than the Lifeproof, and the corners of the case I received have tiny cracks even though the case looks new. I don't think this case will be as durable as the Lifeproof, and I don't trust it to be waterproof, but I will use it for now.
