Q: Can anyone tell us the thickness of the lip at the countertop? It seems tall in the pictures. Thanks in advance.

It’s 1” wide by 1/4” tall amazing sink !! So many amazing accessories! Take note use magic eraser to clean many others have scratched it using Brillo pads.

Q: What type of garbage disposal should be used with this model?

The height of the plumbing drain, if it goes into a wall, defines whether a garbage disposal can drain. Mine is too high by a couple of inches for a 10" sink. Someone must make a disposal with an outlet less than 6" down from the sink bottom... Let me know.

Q: What is the actual size of bowl? Its my understanding the lip is one inch, that should make the bowl length, 31: 33-2 inches for both side.

Showing 1-1 of 1 answers I would be very cautious of most of the dimensional answers for this item. The description provides the actual rim edge to edge dimensions. They also provide the inner bowl dimensions. The manufacturer provides a actual dimensional drawing of the sink which will give you a sense of the cut out dimensions. That website drawing is: http://www.ruvati.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/RVH8003.pdf. It appears there is somewhat less than an inch (in one answer, 5/8” is noted) overhang of the rim around the perimeter... that’s to give you a ballpark estimate.... The template with the sink will give you precise accuracy. I would suggest contacting the manufacturer if you need it very precise numbers prior to the install and not pay attention to any of the other answers in this area

I don't know about preferred, but you would want 3/4" to 1". The clips open to a maximum of just over 1".
